The doors of the hospital swung open as a stretcher was being rushed inside the emergency room. The man laying there had been bleeding profusely, soaking through his white shirt. His whole body was drenched, and he coughed once. He was trying to keep his eyes open yet, his body was exhausted.
"Stay with us, Sir, " the nurse told him as she wiggled him, trying to keep him awake.
"Ughh..." the man groaned as the group consisted of three paramedics hurriedly brought him to the operating room.
"Gunshot wound on the abdomen, " stated the nurse as soon as they came in the operating room. The crew inside the operating room consisted of two surgeons and nurses, prepared all the necessary equipment. They plugged the patient into the respirator as the surgeons prepared for the operation as well.
The man continued to groan as his eyes closed, struggling to keep his mind focused on one thing, that is, to stay alive.
