Avalor and her PA entered the office and I rest my hand on my chest to calm my racing heart.

I try my best not to make sure single sound as I hid behind the huge cabinet, the documents hidden under my tights.

"How haven't you still found out where the mails are coming from? This is the third time I received one!!" she paced around the room in irritation.

"I am sorry, ma'am. But there is no address on the mail nor have we been able to track down the post office. The person was really thorough" her PA apologized and I smirked.

They will never be able to find that out.

"Then you will have to be extra thorough, is that understood?"

"Yes, ma'am" and he left the office.

"Why? Why is this happening now? I thought I have gotten rid of them all. I thought I was finally going to live in peace. Why?" she muttered and ran her hair through her brown locks.

"I killed that bitch Rosaline then I killed the bastard Brudy and gave away their girls. Who is doing this? And why?" she mumbled.

I still.

For a moment, I completely forgot where and who I was. I was numb. My ears were ringing, I couldn't hear a thing. The blood that is pumping into my heart seemed to have stopped. Then I let out a very heavy and disturbing breath.

Then it all came rushing down. A sharp tear stroke my heart and my head throbbed with the weighty piece of information I registered in my brain. I held the cabinet for support as my knees gave in.

I killed that bitch Rosaline....

I killed that bitch Rosaline...

I killed that bitch Rosaline.

It kept on ringing and ringing over and over again.

At a point, I thought I misheard. At a point, I wished I misheard. But no.

I heard it loud and clear.

Avalor killed my mother.

A sudden wave came from nowhere and travelled all the way from my chest to mouth and I let out a shrill sob.

Then I fell. Both literally and figuratively.

I could feel each and every bone, organ and vein inside me crumbling.

Then I passed out.
