BEEP BEEP( alarm sound), Nephi turns of the alarm. This is the first time that Nephi has turned off her alarm, because as I have mentioned in the first chapter that Nephi is always late for school but today she could not sleep due to 2 reasons. Firstly she couldn't sleep because of the competition excitement and lastly due to the tension of her parents visiting to her school. Its already 7am she has no other way left to skip her school. So she decides to bath and get ready for school. Within 8 am she was ready in her school uniform and went downstairs. Her parents were quite surprised to see Nephi out of bed so early and this time she did not make any reasons to skip school. She went silently and sat on the chair and her mother gave her breakfast. She had her breakfast and her dad said "Nephi go get your bag, Its already time." She grabs her bag and went out of the door. They are driving to school, Nephi is shivering due to fear of what her teacher will complaint about her.
They have reached school on time and now they are heading towards Nephi's classroom. All the students of her class were seeing her along with her parents and talking about her. After 5 mins of waiting Nephi's class teacher Miss Sherley arrived and greeted Nephi's parents. Miss
Sherley and Nephi's parents sat, Miss Sherley started the conversation by greeting Nephi's parents, " Good morning Mr and Mrs. Shah. I am very glad that you made time to visit the school. We have been lately observing many changes in Nephi. There is nothing much serious, but we are afraid that it may become serious in the upcoming days. So for the welfare of Nephi's future we are suggesting you this. Changes like she is not concentrating on her studies more, she is always in some imagination mood of cartoon stuff and she keeps on talking to herself in the bathroom and misses her class. So now she is in 10th grade so this matter is a worrying situation. We have to help in gaining the concentration in her studies more. She should avoid the day dreaming habit of hers." After hearing this Nephi was freaked out. And then her father spoke out, " Yes Miss Sherely we have also been observing many changes in Nephi. We will make sure this does not repeat here after. We are really sorry for the misbehavior of Nephi." Her mom was speechless cause she was boiling hot with temper and even her dad was feeling awkward to speak in this situation. Miss Sherley spoke for a while about Nephi's studies and her behavior at home. Nephi was unable to stand there and hear those words of her parents and teachers. Finally the meeting ended but, Nephi was now trembling even more because she knows after going home she is going to get scolded. So her parents left her at school by saying "Let's see you at home." They did not leave Nephi to speak a word. Nephi returned to her classroom. She could not even imagine her situation after returning home.
