Chapter 3 - Prologue

There has been a change in the wind. The good times are finally present. Times have changed since the World Wars et Coups d'état. In fact, this is the biggest Coup d'état to be recorded in history. Many men have stepped forward, attempted to build empires, and have attempted to rule them. None have had great success. A phoenix rises from the ashes, offering a great redemption. Proving to those infidels the true power a phoenix beholds.

The Great Empire precipitated the Bianchi Dynasty. Elder Bianchi, the patriarch and founder of the Great Empire built it years ago. Alec Bianchi is the only known foundation the empire stands upon. At the age of 25, he wed a mortal of Greek origin and she bore him a son. Elder Bianchi named his son Oscar which means 'champion warrior'. This particular name was chosen by Elder Bianchi because Oscar was born to be the champion warrior of his father's Great Empire. The birth of a son into the Bianchi lineage confirmed the dynasty would only see prosperity. This Empire he built is a world for those like him. A world for the supernatural is commonly addressed as subterrestrial. Alec is the most powerful subterrestrial; it is befitting that he is their leader.

Alec bestowed Oscar the official second-highest position as the Premier, only the Patriarch has the authority of countermanding his decisions. No one else, a traditional monarchy.

Such a vast empire possesses various leadership positions which are gained through democracy. Two are crucially important positions: Commissioner and Councilor. Another very important fragment of the Great Empire is the 'Black Hand'. An unofficial organization consisting of three individuals, one of which is the Eradicator: royal assassinator.

Patriarch

Leader of the Great Empire as well as the sole founder. Addressed as 'Elder' by his subjects and counsel. The official highest form of authority.

Premier

The official second highest form of authority. Universal ambassador representing Elder Bianchi conducts political decisions with the permission of Elder Bianchi and ensures that there is peace within the Empire. Addressed as 'Premier'.

Commissioner

Individuals which represent their continents of origin in the 'Gathering of Elders'. They are not addressed as 'Elder' because of the disrespect it holds towards their leader. Instead, they are addressed as 'Commissioner'.

Councillor

Individuals which represent their countries of origin in the 'Continental Gatherings', led by the chosen Continent Commissioner. They are addressed as 'Councilor'.

Eradicator

An individual unknown to the public of the empire, skilled and deadly. Used for missions deemed necessary by the unofficial organization of the 'Black Hand' the unofficial highest form of authority, feared by all.

He created a world for creatures like him. A world where individuals are able to thrive as their diabolical selves. A world where the darkness is embraced by all. A world where there is no limitation to wickedness. Home on earth for malevolent beings. All that is required is order and indispensable respect toward the Elder. Him, the creator of it all. Alec Bianchi. That loathsome sound. STOMP. STOMP. STOMP. They are being mobilized for battle, his loyal soldiers, his large army. A full moon is what they look to, that is how the wolf knows the time for war has come. The wolf's howl signs the death warrant for many. Does one belong to you?

It seems inviting, full of secrets you wish to unveil. I do not wish to discourage you on this journey or decision. But beware of this world you are so impatient to infiltrate, I simply want to advise you, my friend. Once you infiltrate there is no exit. It will become your reality, your entire life. Don't make the mistake of attempting to escape it. At that moment you have to decide whether you will kill or you will be killed. I chose to kill. What will you choose? And dearest Comrade, beware of the malevolent one or it will surely be the end of you.
