This is a summary of volume 3.
SPOILERS
It goes from "Heliopolis (1)" to "Miracle...or?"
If something seemingly important isn't in here it's more likely that I forgot to add it than whatever that thing is not being important.
SPOILERS OBVIOUSLY
Heliopolis (1)
- Death and Nephthys (Egyptian god) have a short conversation. Nephthys pouts about how infrequently Death comes through Heliopolis
- The team arrive in Heliopolis's main city
- Death apologizes for their upcoming meeting with Ra. Lucifer says it's understandable
- The citizens of Heliopolis stare at the uništi as the team travels through the city
- Lucifer asks Death if he's really not hot in his robe. Death replies that anything less than literal fire won't affect him and asks Lucifer if the two of them haven't traveled through Heliopolis before. Lucifer replies that the only time they would have is if they were traveling to a "Council meeting"
- Peter reveals that the "Volcanic lands" are hotter than Heliopolis and mentions the Hawaiian gods
- Peter is worried that Elijah isn't ready to cross "The Moloch line"
- Sabu and Heinrich have a conversation about their pasts and wonder how Lucifer continues to do his job. Heinrich tells Sabu that he's planning on asking Osiris how heavy his sins are, much to Sabu's dismay
- Lao and Yvere briefly discuss "The Moloch line" before goading each other into having a contest at the palace where they both eat a disgusting meal
- Lucifer asks Death if he thinks Osiris will be at the palace. Death says he probably will given that Nephthys ran out to meet them
- It's revealed that various territories are broken up into an above-ground (Where the ruling god is considered to be the primary ruler) and an "underworld"
- Because the three realms are seen as one major territory Death was originally seen as an underworld ruler with Lucifer's father being the primary ruler. After certain events unfolded Death became the primary ruler, and Satan is now viewed as the underworld ruler. Death is viewed as a hero to some of the underworld gods because of this
- The team arrive at the palace. Ra doesn't speak a human language
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Heliopolis (2)
- Ra (Through the use of a translator) and Elijah have a short conversation where Ra says, untranslated, that he wishes Lucifer showed the same respect that Elijah does. Ra shows a distaste for Olympians

- Lucifer has further worries about Anubis's attitude towards Ra
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Heliopolis (3)
- Lucifer asks to speak with Anubis in private. Anubis tells Lucifer he's tried reaching Satan to no avail. Anubis asks Lucifer to give him a message, and Lucifer calls him out for lying about not having already spoken to Satan. Anubis says "Look fallen-" but is interrupted by Lucifer subtly threatening him.
- Lucifer says he'll relay the message if Anubis owes him a favor (Owing a favor has more severe implications depending on the strength of the participating beings). Anubis agrees
- Death and Osiris have a conversation about Death's part of the world. Death assures Osiris that Satan is difficult to work with, and that he doesn't need help running Hell
- Osiris goes to ask Heinrich if he's worried about his "Balance." Peter intervenes and asks Osiris to leave Heinrich be. Ra is annoyed by Peter for doing so.
- Death tries to distract everyone by laughing and saying "Why ruin this mood with work? I don't get to see all of you enough so why don't we talk among each other?"
- Peter and the other members of the team get up and leave the gods to talk amongst each other
- Lucifer informs Peter that he needs to make a call to Satan, worrying Peter greatly.
- Lucifer calls Satan and ask him if he's gotten any calls from Osiris recently. Satan reveals that he has. Lucifer reveals that there's a potential underworld god alliance being formed, and that Satan was meant to be the center point. Satan responds that if he wanted to be in an alliance he would have started one himself. Lucifer is unsure of what he'll say to Death
- Death and Osiris have a conversation where Osiris tries one more time to convince Death to join the alliance. Death refuses. Osiris uses his magic (Which he had never done prior) on Death and is in pain at how "Heavy" Death's sins are
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Crossing the Moloch Line
- Death and Lucifer are quiet for most of the trip through Heliopolis, both worried about their own problems. Death wonders what exactly his sins felt like to Osiris. Lucifer was concerned about the chance of underworld alliance happening and whether Elijah was ready for what comes next
- The group quickly travel through a city known as Hayirna
- Lucifer reveals to Death that there might be an underworld alliance forming. Death reveals he already knew, angering Lucifer. Death is surprised that Lucifer is angry with him.
- Lucifer and Death start having an argument that gets increasingly more heated
- Death lies to Lucifer about being sorry. Lucifer can tell he's lying
- Lucifer goes to say something else, but decides instead that he and Death should have a duel to clear the air. Death tells Lucifer he's not getting the handicap (Death not using his scythe) again, to which Lucifer replies "Fine!" and asks for Peter's sword
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Healthy Argument
- Lucifer and Death's duel starts, with neither side being a clear winner. Peter worries that Death is going to break his sword
- Elves start to come out of the woods nearby ready to warn the two that they can't fight in this area, before realizing it was Death and Lucifer
- Death gets pushed back by Lucifer, causing him to think of Lucifer's father. Death roars Lucifer's name and starts to rapidly blink around. Lucifer tries to fly up, expecting Death to follow, and has a chunk of one of his wings ripped out. - Lucifer and Death apologize to each other, though neither were really over what had happened
- Death says he'll try contacting the underworld gods. Lucifer asks him what he'll do if the unknown is responsible for this, to which Death replies he isn't sure, but that he isn't in the mood for discussion
- They both agree that humanity's safety is a priority
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Different Reports
- Death calls Zach and gets a report on the current locations of the traveling grim. Death tells Zach to have Xiao's team travel to Han'ei to keep an eye on Amaterasu. Death informs that the underworld alliance might actually be happening. Zach's response is apathetic. Death tells him to take it seriously
- Lucifer is explaining to Elijah that Peter's sword can have someone's magic channeled through it and that the runic carvings are more for branding than actual function. He explains that it's durability comes from a black metal known as "Void metal"
- After Peter reveals how much his sword is worth Lucifer tells Elijah that the dagger is worth a similar amount. Lucifer assures Elijah that it'll ward off more trouble than it brings
- Lucifer receives a surprise call from Satan. Satan lies about Cthulhu killing Ezekiel. Lucifer throws his echo in anger, lodging it into a nearby tree. After retrieving the echo Lucifer asks Satan if he has any real information. Satan reveals that his demons that had been delivering messages from Fenrir to Vázoluna have been killed, and he wants to know who did it
- Satan tells Lucifer he'll forgive his debts if he finds out who killed the demons. Lucifer tells Death about this
- Death decides to call Michael to check on what Heaven's planning on doing. Lucifer accurately predicts what Michael is going to say. Michael sent another team, but is giving Death full control over whether or not they can join the mission
- Death asks Lucifer which underworld god he should try calling first. Lucifer suggests Hades
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The Catch
- Hades reveals that he has no plans on actually joining the underworld alliance. He mentions that the unknown vouched for him and that Asmodeus and Belphegor (Demons) are working with the unknown
- Death called the underworld gods while Lucifer called Satan. Satan knows about Belphegor and Asmodeus being a part of the unknown's resistance, and informs Lucifer that it's a more recent development. Death has no luck with the underworld gods
- Lucifer tells Death that they should hurry up and finish the mission so they can get back to the three realms. Death agrees and makes a blank stare that worries Lucifer
- Lucifer decides to take his mind off of things and asks Peter for a game of Hopu (It's possible to catch someone else's magic so long as one has the matching affinity. Hopu is a game that revolves around that)
- After Peter and Lucifer's match is over Elijah ask Lucifer about the inconsistencies of magic, which gets Lucifer excited. It's explained that most magics seem to be unable to affect the insides of a living being's body
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
On Till Morning

- Lucifer's eyes glow as he tries to read Death's face, causing Death to get mad and tell him he's allowed the "occasional melancholy"
- Lucifer brings up the fact that Passage (The territory the unknown is currently in. The group are a short ways away from it) is considered a "Non-combat zone." He also mentions Saint's potential appearance, which Death perks up at hearing. The two have a casual conversation for the rest of the night, assured that they've planned enough for now
- Peter starts explaining to Elijah the different specializations of magic
- Elijah asks about "Runts" (A being who has a weaker version of their race's bloodline magic). Peter has Yvere explain that the vampire king (Lucius) is a runt, and that runts also tend to look different among their race. It's explained that bloodline magic can be weaker or stronger depending on the being
- Peter explains that affinities can't be weaker or stronger, and that one's skill with magic is usually determined by base mana, talent, and time

- The unknown reveals that they have all basic affinities (Fire, wind, earth, water, lightning, illusion, healing). Lucifer is horrified and states "The only being in existence who had every base affinity was my father."
- The unknown allows Lucifer to burn their face to show that they're not his father hiding behind an illusion
- Lucifer asks the unknown why they would make their base of operations in the Underground. The unknown responds that they plan to destroy it right now and asks Lucifer to join them. - Kahvis reveals that they knew about the demon invasion ahead of time. Lucifer asks Kahvis if they informed the grim in Passage of the invasion, to which they respond that they didn't. Lucifer warns Kahvis that if any grim die it'll kill their chances to negotiate with Death, which Kahvis responds to by saying "If he is the god I think he is I shouldn't have to worry about losing my head once we're done here. If not, then I deserve to die for my mistake."
- Lucifer and Kahvis's team are attacked in their elevators once they come into view of the pleasure district. Lucifer flies down and tries to terrify the enemies. Lucifer succeeds and draws the attention of the three Underground heads
