"That is how we get in,"
Shai walked past the figure through the portal, the figuer watched Eurus keep up with Shai holding his hand, Shai glanced at Eurus, he wasnt as scared as he was before but hes looking at the portal excited. Shai smiled ever so slightly and turned to the figure,
"We go in go to the bottom layer. That is their weak point. It wouldn't shock me if they have forgotten about them, but they're too valuable," the figure told her,
"Sounds good to me,"
They heard the other figure whistled coming out of the portal. He walked into the room with his hands behind his head staring at them,
"You are still talking about this?"
"We are, this is a critical figure,"
"Yes, it could be, but it could do more harm to dread on it, then wait and watch their motives,"
The figure looked at him bewildered. That was right. Wait for their moves before they start there. The other figher opens one of his eyes and notices the look on the figure,
"What with the face? Didn't think of that figure,"
"No, im just astonished that you thought of it,"
"I thought of it during the portal ride home, and thought of why would i worry for this when i can pounder on what to do now,"
The figure heard this before it was when they first met. That sneaky shit. The figure let out a chuckle, and the other figure looked to Shai and Eurus, they where walking out of the room with Eurus on the phone,
"You know the path ahead of her hasn't been seen before,"
The figure stopped. He knew the responsibility that she had. This was unheard of until the deities went against them, but Shai is a whole different problem for them. The figure didn't know how it would go. It worried him,
"You're worried about something soon?"
"I am, i don't know what will happen. I've always been able to predict it. Now i don't have a clue,"
"Take this as a sign figure. This could be the break throught we have been looking for,"
The other figure looked away from him, hearing Shai and Eurus talking. He felt a relief he didn't know what to make of it other than hope, He had a new hope in her. the other figure turned his gaze back to the figure,
"It's hope, figuer, and when there's hope, there's courage,"
"I feel the same way. But we have to be realistic about this situation,"
"I didn't say be ignorant, figure we must have discernment for this, but we can not be drained by the thought of what they might do. That might not happen. We must prepare ourselves and wait."
The figuer stopped, he needed to stop over thinking this and wait, the figher let out a huff which the other figuer heard, the other figure starts to grin at him and the figuer knew what he's about to do.
"Don't you sta..."
"You admit that I'm right then. Good now that you recognized we can go over how many times you have ignored it,"
The other figure starts to tell the figure all the time he has ijnored him until the figure walks to the door,
"Figure! I wasn't finished,"
"No, you are,"
Shai looked to where the figuers are, she could hear them but not what they are saying, Shai felt a hand touch her arm, she stared at Eurus, he stared at her concerned and Shai saw this.
"What's wrong?"
"You're so nonchalant at this. It's worrying,"
Eurus rubbed his thump over her arm, and she stared at him, confused. She's worried, yeah, but she didn't want to obsessed over it. They have their time and they will work with in it, Shai felt how warm his hand is, she felt a shiver go down her spine, and Shai placed her hand over his,
"Eurus, i know this looks grim, but we can't do anything yet,"
"That i know, Shai, but i saw how you acted there,"
"I just took it for what it is, Eurus,"
Eurus noticed that she was cold. It's really cold. She's not ready to deal with stress yet, but there wasn't a choice. Eurus let go of her taking his hoddie,
"Eurus, what?"
She stopped having the hoddie laid over her, Eurus zipped the hoddie and rubbed the side of her arms, trying to help her warm up, Shai looked at him confused.
"What's with the hoddie?"
"You are frezzing. Don't you feel cold?"
"Not really no,"
They hear the figuers talking still, and from there tone Shai thought it was about earlier,
"There just talking,"
"Yeah, i know,"
From the tone of her voice, he knew that she's drained, but tried to stay awake,
"Shai, you're tired. Let's get you to bed,"
"I know i should still be resting, but i..."
"Didn't have a choice ,"
"That i did,"
Shai didn't feel herself shaking, but Eurus saw Shai falling back. He caught her stopping her from falling, and he let out her name, feeling how cold she was,
"Shai!"
Shai looked to him, feeling fatigued,Eurus helped her stand staring at her, frightened, and she held onto him, stunned. she's still healing, but I didn't think it would be this bad. Shai's surprised they didn't hear Eurus yell. Nor hear her almost fall,
"Shai, are you ok?
"I think so,"
Shai held onto Eurus, not wanting to fall. She felt so fatigued, Eurus pulled her closer to him, and he wouldn't let her fall. Eurus looked down at her, resting his chin on her head, Shai leaned into him with her eyes closed. Eurus wrapped his arms around her, whispering,
"Shai?"
Shai hummed, lifting her head from his chest, Eurus noticed the color of her eyes were changing. He felt her shaking under his arm with Shai muttering under her breath,
"What do ya want now?"
"Your shaking, we need to get you to your bed,"
Shai placed her head into his chest shaking holding on to him huffing, Eurus looked at her stunned feeling his face heat up, but stopped feeling her quake in his arms, he needs to get her there qwickly,
"Claire, get the gust bed room ready, turn in the heat,"
"Yes, little Eurus,"
Claire voice came from beside him, and Eurus glanced at her, Claire saw Eurus holding Shai close,
"She's shaking,"
Claire looked closer, shes getting pale. Claire glanced at Eurus and said,
"I will get the room ready. Get her there, qwickly,"
Claire dissapeared and Eurus felt Shais weight on him, he looked down, shes feel asleep on him, her breathing was fine but her grip on him was tight, Eurus tried to get her grip off of him, she wouldn't budge.
"Shai, you got to let go,"
She did almost fallinf Eurus caught her, shocked he looked at her confounded.
"I didn't think of that, Shai. You forced yourself to meet with them, didn't you?"
Eurus picked her up, lifing her to his chest, Eurus walked out the kithen towards her room, and he heard the figures shouting. Eurus stopped turning his head and could see the side of the figuer, he looked frustrated. Eurus heard a grunt coming from Shai. He looked at her, finding her laying her head on his shoulder and trying to get closer to him, Eurus went up the stairs, holding her close to him,
"Claire should have the room warm by now,"
Eurus let out, walking to the room, he didnt hear the figures talking anymore. Must have a conclusion, Euru went to open the door, but it opened for him, Claire stood by it staring at Shai,
"She seems to have a better temprethuer,"
Eurus walked to the bed, laying Shai in it, placing the blanket on her, Claire followed them, watching how Eurus treated her so gently. Eurus felt the blanket heat up,
"You changed it to a heated blanket?"
"Yes, she needed to get warm. What happened?"
Eurus grabbed the chair from beside her bed and sat down, Claire stood beside Shai, staring at her before turning to Eurus,
"You didn't hear our conversation from before?"
"You said you preferred that i didn't listen to your conversations,"
"Right, but you still have to do it for security,"
"Yes, i do, but i would like to hear it from you,"
Eurus let out a huff,
"She overwhelmed herself."
Eurus looked at Shai seeing her shivering form, but it started to stop. She curled into the blanket, Claire touched his shoulder, and Eurus looked back at her,
"The figures her and i went to the deities for a deal, Shai was the breaker in that deal. She had to get them to help us,"
"Did they agree?"
"They did, but they help in retern,"
"Help from her,"
"Kind of,"
They looked at Shai, she wasn't shivering, with the heat from the blanket and the heat on has helped her, she still looked pale. Claire glanced down at Eurus and noticed how worried he was for her,
"It drained her, didn't it,"
"Yes, i haven't seen her like this before. It worries me,"
Eurus let out at the end, Claire couldn't hear what he said, but she could guess,
"She's been thought what most couldn't,"
"She's thrown into a new problem that's been there for a long time. I saw how she handled it to Claire. I wouldn't be able to hand that."
Claire rubbed his back and had a sad smile on her face,
"Because we all go through hardships, Eurus, all of them are peculiar and different from the other,"
