It's the day of the last stage of the chunin exams. Kakashi introduced me to Yugao the very next day. She only agreed to teach me the basics as she's too busy to teach me more than that. That was more than okay for me.
Just like the original, Gaara still tried to kill Lee in the hospital before he was stopped by Might Guy. Naruto got the toad summoning contract and Sasuke learnt the Chidori.
The first match had already started.
Neji Hyuga vs Naruto Uzumaki.
To summarize it, Naruto just rushed him with shadow clones. He tried to sneak up on Neji but he blocked Naruto's chakra points.
He then started his sad dialogue about destiny and that nonsense. Naruto then used the nine tail's chakra to beat the hell out of Neji. The match ended with Naruto as the winner.
The next match was supposed to be between Sasuke and Gaara but seeing as how Sasuke wasn't here yet, they postponed his match.
The next match is Aburame Shino vs Kankuro.
Kankuro forfeits without even giving a fight causing the audience to 'boo' him.
Shikamaru automatically moved to the next round seeing as how Dosu was killed by Gaara during the one month period.
The current match is called.
"Temari vs Uchiha Izuna. Will both contestants please come forward."
We both walk down to the stage. I can see that she's in no rush to start the fight which amuses me a bit.
We're now standing a few meters apart facing each other.
"Begin!"
Neither of us make any moves. I had already decided to have fun with this match. She quickly unfolds her fan before,
"Cutting Whirlwind Technique"
She blew a large but sharp gust of wind towards me. The arc was wide enough that I would need to jump to dodge it, which would put me in a vulnerable position mid air.
Unfortunately for them, I'm pulling out all the stops today. This is one of the last fights they'll see me participate in, so I might as well give them a show.
"Earth Release: Earth Release Wall"
Her wind technique destroys my earth wall but that was the reason I performed the jutsu.
As soon as she saw me leap into the air, she had a victorious smirk as she sent multiple slashes of wind at me.
I used the airborne debris from the destroyed earth wall to ricochet my body away from her slashes.
She grits he teeth in frustration. She sends a tornado of wind at me which I try to block, sending me a few feet back.
Izuna:"Be honored. You'll be the first person I'll use this on."
Temari became cautious as she heard my words as she sends more bursts of wind in my direction at a faster pace.
Temari:"The hell are you talking about!?"
"Genjutsu: Dark world"

To everyone it seemed as if the sun disappeared. Everywhere was dark, even the usual light from the moon was missing. The only thing visible were two pairs of blood red sharingan.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique"
A big ball of fire made its way towards her as she blocked it with her fan. Before the fireball could even reach her, the owner of one of the two pair of sharingan launched countless kunai towards her.
Even though she blocked the fireball head on, she had to try to deflect the incoming kunai. Using her fan to deflect the kunai instead of blocking them in fear of damaging her fan. Only the slight shine of the kunai in the light of the fireball enabled her to see them properly.
As she deflected them, the deflected kunai were still in the air when the owners of the two pairs of sharingan rush forward and grabbed them in mid air. Using them to slash her body, making enough cuts to damage her but not lethal enough to kill her.
Suddenly one of the two figures jumped forward with its foot extended, blowing away and onto her back, knocking her out.
The dark world melted away to see an unconscious Temari on the floor with cuts riddling her body while the second pair of sharingan belonged to a shadow clone.
All of this happened in the span of 5 seconds. There was silence until Genma announced the winner as Izuna causing loud cheers from Konoha's side.
He picked her up carrying her to a nearby medical team. As he left the stage he saw Kakashi and Sasuke appear last minute for Sasuke's fight.
He wanted to just drop Temari with them and watch Sasuke's fight but the medical team insisted on him carrying her to the hospital.
Sighing in annoyance he made his way to the hospital, not so fast that the bleeding will increase but not so slow that it would take forever to get there.
As walked into the hospital, he was so lost in thought that he didn't realize that she had woken up.
Temari who had just woken up was confused as she felt like she was in motion. Opening her eyes looking up at who was carrying her, her face turned red.
'He feels so comfortable. Damnit what am I saying!?'
Her face turned an even lighter shade of red. Izuna who was unaware of her thought process or the fact that she had even woken up was in deep thought.
He was thinking of how long it would be before the invasion starts. He hands her over to a nearby medic before making his way back to the arena.
As soon he steps outside the hospital, a burst of dense, malicious chakra filled the air. He felt the chakra in the direction of the arena.
He was about to head there when a literal army of sound ninja made their way towards him.
"Is this him?"
"Yeah, he's the brat we're supposed to kill"
"He doesn't look like much"
This was how the conversation between the sound ninja went until they finally rushed at Izuna, who just finished a set of hand seals.
"Water Release: Exploding Water Shockwave"
Water immediately burst around him before rushing upwards forming a giant pillar of water, which as it falls gives the impression of a giant wave of water much larger than you would see in any beach.
The kusa shinobi look in fear as the water fall on them crushing and killing a lot of them. The ones who weren't killed were seriously injured but Izuna wasn't done yet.
Putting his hands on the still flowing water he channeled chakra through his hands as it lit up with silver lightning.
"Chidori Stream"
The already crushing water wave now electrocuted those who weren't already dead.
After the water and electricity died down there was silence as leaf shinobi who were passing by looked in shock as a genin decimated a small army with just two jutsus.
Before they could say anything, he dashed towards the arena. It took him a while to get there, but not because of lack of speed. On his way, he had encountered many sound ninja who tried to stop him or slow him down but ended up dead.
As he headed past the arena he couldn't Gaara's chakra there. Rather, he felt it further ahead. Making his way in the direction of Gaara's chakra, he passed several unconscious bodies. He saw a random suna kunoichi who must have taken Temari's place in trying to lead Gaara out.
Finally getting to the location, he sees Naruto on the head of gamabunta fighting a fully transformed shukaku. He sees Sasuke and Sakura lying unconscious with their bodies sprawled on the floor.
The fight between Gamabunta and Shukaku takes a temporary pause as Naruto tries to convince Izuna to run away.
Naruto:"Izuna!!! Why are you just standing there! Get back!!!"
Izuna ignores him as he walks calmly to shukaku who seems to focus entirely on him with a crazy smile. He rushes towards Izuna with a deranged grin.
Naruto screams at Izuna to move but he just stares as the ichibi approached him. His eyes turned blood red before the three tomoe quickly reshaped itself into his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. He then spoke.
"Amaterasu"
Black flames exploded from beneath shukaku as he screamed in pain. Gamabunta stares in shock at the child who succeeded in injuring the ichibi while he failed. Naruto on the other hand.
Naruto:"Oi Izuna, quit it with the creepy flames!!! We're trying to wake him up, not kill him."
He sighed before extinguishing the black flames. A lot of shukaku's sand had been burnt black as there were shattered pieces of glass; formerly sand, on the ground.
Izuna looks at Shukaku in the eye with his EMS before muttering.
"Sleep."
The ichibi tried to resist but it was futile. The sand covering Gaara recedes leaving a sleeping Gaara on the floor.

Gamabunta looks at me intently before dispelling himself, leaving Naruto to land on his butt. I leave him as I know he plans to have a talk with Gaara who was now waking up.
I waited for them to finish their little heart to heart. Gaara is smiling so I take it as a sign that it's working.
I look towards a far away building as the purple barrier which kept the hokage and Orochimaru locked in, finally disappeared, signaling the death of the third hokage.
Buildings were destroyed, civilians were injured and now the third hokage is dead.
On all accounts this is a bad day for Konoha.
