Himari just looks at Yamato with a hint of her former fears resurfacing. As if he could read her thoughts, Izuna spoke again.
Izuna: "Calm yourself."
He walks past her dragging the limp body of his teammate. She froze for a while before heeding my words. She then walks forward for her bout with Yamato.
After they both get in position, they seem to be analyzing each other. After seeing what happened in the last match, she was cautious.
Yamato: "Start!"
Himari already starts weaving hand seals. Of course, he doesn't allow her and leaps towards her.
Himari: 'Almost there'
The moment Yamato was within four feet of her, she finally finished performing hand seals and whispered.
Himari: "Poison Release: Poison Spray Technique."
And out of her mouth came a moderately sized spray of poison aimed at Yamato, who looked visibly surprised.
When the poison looked like it surrounded Yamato, he replaced himself with a nearby log. The interesting thing was that on the surface of the log shrouded in poison, black spots begin to appear as if it's decaying.

Izuna: 'So I have a teammate who seems to be decent in ninja tools but not as good as TenTen and another teammate who specializes in poison. Not bad. I thought I would've gotten a team filled with cannon fodder'

Yamato was very visibly surprised. She had almost caught him with the poison spray. If he had been even a second slower, he would have been hospitalized if not dead, seeing what the poison did to the log.
Yamato: 'She's good. To wait until I've gotten so close that I wouldn't be able to draw back quick enough. This one has the brains to be a shinobi.'
This time Himari threw at kunai with an explosive tag towards him. When he was about the substitute himself again, the tag blew up before getting to him.
He was slightly confused, before the smoke cleared as he had a look of understanding.
Yamato: 'She used the explosive tag instead of a smoke bomb to disguise her intentions and disappear. I approve.'
Suddenly he jumped into the air as two hand came from beneath the ground to try to pull him underneath.
Seeing that her plan failed she emerged from the ground already performing hand seals again.
This time Yamato rushes to her to engage her before she finishes her hand seals. He aims a kick at her head which she dodged, even if just barely.
As they engage in taijutsu, it becomes apparent why she was hesitant to engage physically earlier.
Her taijutsu is decent but she doesn't have the endurance to block hits without suffering backlash.
Yamato finally decided to end the fight by knocking her out the same way he knocked out Kaito. He carries her limp body before dropping it beside Kaito, who still hadn't woken up.
Yamato looks at the last members of his team, standing there and looking unaffected by seeing his teammates get knocked out.
The Uchiha silently walked across the training ground. They both stood opposite each other, a few meters apart. Yamato couldn't help but feel a sense of danger as he sees the Uchiha standing so casually with his eyes closed.
Yamato: 'Is he really so arrogant to not even get into a stance. This is going to be over before it even starts. '
Yamato: "Start!"
The moment he said that, the Uchiha's eyes snap open, revealing a fully matured sharingan.
Yamato: "Sharingan!?"
Yamato who was now at full alert was even more alarmed when the Uchiha disappeared from his position.
'Where is he!? Above!!'
He looks up to see the young Uchiha with his cheeks puffed and his index fingers slightly below his mouth.
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique"
A ball of fire almost three times the size of Izuna flew from his mouth towards Yamato at great speed. Yamato, who was about to dodge the attack heard the Uchiha's voice once again.
"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough"
His voice was calm but was clearly heard even through the burning fireball. The already high speed of the fireball was made even greater from the blast of wind increasing the speed and size.
When the fireball finally hit, Yamato leaped out of the smoke looking slightly singed.
Completing hand seals, he exclaimed while extending his palms to the floor.
"Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld"
Before he could get trapped by the now swampy floor, he threw himself into the air. Adjusting himself in the air while throwing a shuriken at high speed.
Yamato was confident in his ability to either dodge or deflect the kunai until he heard.
"Ninja Art: Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu"
He blanched as the single shuriken multiply into over a hundred shuriken. When the shuriken struck its target, Yamato body disappeared in a puff of smoke, and in its place was a log mutilated by several dozen shuriken.
He watched as Izuna dashed at high jonin speed towards him on the now solid floor.
Yamato: 'Is he really a genin!?'
That was his last thought as he blocked a punch that sent him back a few feet, despite having blocked it.
Yamato: 'I have to use it'
Weaving hand seals before speaking.
"Wood Release: Wood Projectiles Technique"
Blocks of wood shoot out from beneath Yamato's feet aimed at Izuna.
Not staying idle either, the young Uchiha finishes his own set of hand seals.
"Earth Release: Earth Release Wall"
Izuna creates a wall in front of himself by spewing out a stream of mud that solidifies into a strong wall.
The wooden projectile slam into the earth wall as Izuna leaps over the wall in Yamato's direction.
But before he could reach him Yamato had used another jutsu.
"Wood Release: Wood Stocks Technique"
Yamato created a set of wooden stocks that then entraps the Uchiha, binding his movement. He movs his hands to complete another set of hand seals as the Uchiha struggles to free himself.
"Wood Release: Wood Spike Ring Technique"
Yamato creates a semi-circle of wood around the captured Izuna, and then form spikes within the ring, pointing at the Uchiha, preventing him from making any sudden movements.
Yamato then let loose a breath of relief as he trapped the Uchiha. He surveyed the surrounding areas. Shuriken littering the ground with scorch marks on the floor. Parts of the ground seemed to have been uprooted.
Yamato looked at the Uchiha while thinking.
Yamato: 'This kid isn't a genin, his skills are at least mid-jonin and that's because he lacks experience. He's going to go very far'
He brought himself out of his mental dialogue before speaking to the stoic Uchiha.
Yamato: "You're good, but this fight is over"
The Uchiha looked at him, not bothered at all about the wooden spikes poking him, ready to tear him apart should he make any sudden move. The Uchiha open his mouth to speak to him for the first time since the fight began.
Izuna:"You seem so sure about that. Why don't you take a closer look at yourself."
Yamato looks confused before speaking.
Yamato:" What are yo-"
His eyes bulged as wide as possible as he saw the Uchiha free from his wooden prison. He looked down to his own body only to see that it was he who was trapped in the wooden bind.
He looks around as the shuriken, scorch marks and uprooted pieces of earth disappear before his very eyes.
Yamato: "Genjutsu!!! Since when?"
He looked to the Uchiha who hadn't moved an inch from his position since the fight started. As he stared at the Uchiha for answers. Blood red orbs that look like they see through the soul, with three tomoe spinning lazily stares back at him.
Izuna: "From the moment you looked into my eyes, you were already under my genjutsu. "
Yamato started in shock as he remembered the Uchiha activating his sharingan the moment the fight started.
Yamato: 'All this time, I was under genjutsu and I didn't notice. Scary! Forget my earlier assumption, this kid is stronger than elite jonin'
The wooden binds finally crumbled as he spoke to the Uchiha.
Yamato: Wake up your teammates.

Yamato could be seen talking to his students as they are finally awake.
Yamato: "You all pass. Starting tomorrow we'll be going on missions. You all did well but there is always something to improve on. Well, that's it for today. We'll meet here same time tomorrow. "
He disappeared in a shroud of leaves. The training ground was silent until the Uchiha stood up to leave but was stopped by his female teammates.
Himari: "Thank you for your words before the test. We really appreciate it."
She spoke with a slight bow. Their other male teammate however,
Kaito: "I didn't need any pep talk from you! So don't go around thinking you helped me or anything, you got that!?"
Before the Uchiha could respond, Kaito's head was comically punched into the ground as he struggled to get his head free.
Himari: "Stop acting all smug and be appreciative!"
A small smile formed on the Uchiha's face as he watched the comical scene of Kaito struggling with muffled screams while Hirami's foot pushed his head even further down the ground.
Izuna:"Maybe these guys won't be so bad after all."

Hiruzen Sarutobi can be seen seated on the hokage seat with four jonin standing in front of him.
Hiruzen:"Give me your report"
His voice, while elderly still had authority in it. One by one the jonin stepped forward and gave their report.
Asuma: "Team 10 passed"
Kurenai: "Team 8, Pass"
A man with gravity defying whit silver hair, with half of his face was covered by a dark blue face mask and his left eye by his headband.
Kakashi: "Team 7, Pass"
Everyone looked at him in shock as it was the first time that he passed a genin team since becoming a jonin. The shock soon fades as the last jonin gave his report with a troubled face.
Yamato: "Team 12, Pass"
Hiruzen:"What seems to be the issue, Yamato. It's clear that somethings bothering you."
All the jonin present turned to face Yamato.
Yamato:"It's my team...or more specifically, the Uchiha"
They all looked surprised until Hiruzen finally spoke.
Hiruzen: "What seems to be the problem with young Izuna."
Yamato:"The test I gave my team was a one on one spar with each of them for me to see their capacity. The first two; Hayama Kaito and Ichika Himari were both mid-genin and high-genin respectively. Then it was Izuna's turn."
He then took a pause to let his next words sink in before continuing.
Yamato:"From the start of the fight I was overwhelmed."
All people present went into shock. They knew Yamato's skills. He was formerly in the anbu. For a fresh genin to overwhelm him was insane, if not impossible.
Yet, Yamato wasn't done talking.
Yamato:"From the moment the fight started, it didn't feel like a spar. It felt like o was on the the battle field and I could die at any time. It was only toward the end that I was forced to use wood style that I finally trapped him. At least that's what I thought. "
The audience continued listening with rapt attention, trying not miss out anything from his explanation.
Kakashi:"What do you mean by 'that's what you thought'?"
Everyone present listened for his answer.
Yamato: "It turns out that he trapped me in a genjutsu with his sharingan from the beginning of the fight."
The jonin and even the hokage couldn't be more shocked. A genin with the power to fight a jonin head on and come out on top was no simple matter. Especially if the jonin was a former anbu.
Hiruzen:"What is your assessment of his skill?"
Yamato: "His ninjutsu is excellent, same as his taijutsu. His genjutsu is out of this world. If I were to accurately estimate...I'd say he's as strong as an anbu captain. Maybe even stronger. All he lacks is experience."
All people present stayed in silence before someone finally spoke up.
Asuma:"What do we do about this?"
That was the question on everyone's minds.
Hiruzen: "Keep an eye on him. What we need to do is make sure that he won't abandon the leaf. We need to ensure that it never happens. Dismissed."
As the jonin disperse, the hokage was deep in thought.
'Now I'm glad that I didn't let Danzo have you. Who knows what would have happened'
While that meeting was going on, a certain Uchiha was laying in bed staring at the screen in front of him.

And with that, his eyes closed as he succumbed to sleep.
