At the precinct
Fred explained what happened to the police that arrived earlier.
Opposite him is a beautiful woman. She got black hair, a fierce look on her cute face, and healthy white skin.
"Thank you for your cooperation." The policewoman said as she stands up from her seat.
Fred stood up as well, "No problem officer eh..."
Seeing that Fred is having trouble what to call her she said, "Rachel, Officer Rachel."
Fred tilted his head at first then he exclaimed, "Oh, Yes, No problem officer Rachel."
Officer Rachel then turned to the two policemen on the side holding unto the criminal.
"Put him in!" she ordered,
The two obeyed and left, they brought the thief to a cell to detain him.
The snatch item was back on its owner's hands, and the criminal is now in jail.
Fred left the precinct after giving his statement.
He looks at the dark sky above, the stars are already visible, it is such a late time now. He left the precinct compound and called a taxi.
'It looks like I need to buy my vehicle, getting a taxi every time is hard. What if it's somewhere that the taxi won't able to reach.'
He thinks about that as he gives some thought about buying a car shortly.
He arrived back home and immediately prepared dinner. After he finished eating and washing the dishes, he went to his room and connected the camera to the computer and he started editing the video.
As he was editing, he remembered the scene earlier with the snatcher, 'If only I captured those scenes. That would be a great vlog episode, just imagine it with a title, "Helping an old woman from a snatcher!", it will probably a hit!'
He started imagining scenarios of how he suddenly become famous, his stats suddenly soared, people were screaming while watching him go... his imagination started to go wild
Then he snapped out of it. Fred continues to edit until midnight before posting a 20 minutes video on BlueTube.
Then he directly falls to the bed and fell asleep. It was a tiring day for Fred, although his enhanced body can still take more load, the same can't be said about him mentally. His mind is not enhanced like his body, it is still the same before he went to this world!
....
The next day,
Fred woke up refresh, ready for another day.
After washing his face and having breakfast, Fred took a shower then change into casual clothes.
He looks at the reflection of himself in the mirror. He keeps changing his face, from a smile to sad, from kind looking to arrogant.
It is funny to watch him doing that.
After he got tired of it, he fixed himself up, grabbed his backpack, and left the house. He flagged a taxi outside just like always.
Fred's destination today is the City Hall.
He will be registering as an adventurer and is also planning to sell the things that he got from yesterday.
Maybe with the money from selling the book and the vials, he will be able to buy even a simple car. A simple one is enough for him 'cause it's just for transportation anyway.
The taxi arrived just outside the City Hall after 24 minutes.
It is a massive, white building that covered a large expanse of land. Many people are entering and leaving the city hall. Some are dressed like an office worker while the others are dressed with armors and sword like a person cosplaying. The former are probably those that work on the City Hall while the latter are adventurers.
Fred followed the flow of people and entered the City Hall.
Then he doesn't know where to go next, so he stands there in a daze like an idiot.
Then he was broken out of his trance by a voice,
"You okay, brother?"
Fred turned his head to the side and saw a man there, looking at him. It seems that he was the one talking to him.
He got above average looks with blonde hair.
"Me?" asked Fred, the man nodded in response.
"Oh, well. I'm fine but... I don't know where to go to register as an adventurer."
Hearing his answer, the man has a look of understanding, "Lost huh, I was just like you when I first came here, I don't know where I was supposed to go. Luckily, there was someone that helped me that time."
The man was talking while looking around the place, he also got this look of someone reminiscing.
Then he looks at Fred and said, "Well, I can help you with your problem. By the way, the name is Vincent, you can just call me Vince for short." Vince offered his hand for shake hands,
Fred shook his hands as a response, "My name is Frederico, Fred for short."
"Well, Fred, let's go. I will bring you to the registration office," said Vince before he started walking.
After the introduction, they did not bother making small talk, and Vince just led Fred to the office.
After a while of walking and turning, they arrived at a place where quite a lot of people wearing the "adventurer" type of clothing.
Seeing that, Fred was sure that this is the right place.
Vince at his front turned to face him and said, "Here you are. This is the Adventurers Administration Office. You can register here and also get some quest. For more information, you can just ask at the information desk over there."
Fred look around as Vince was talking, he was amazed at this place seeing many people wearing those armors and swords. He also nodded to Vince as a sign that he is listening.
"Then, I have to go now. If you have any problem just ask me! Haha. Anyway, see ya!" Vince left after saying goodbye to Fred, then he is gone from Fred's sight in no time.
Fred then placed his attention to Adventurer Office again, then he muttered, "So this is how the Adventurer's Guild on fantasy world looks like on a modern world."
"Anyway, I should go and register now!"
