The loud loud sounds terrifying and with the unknown force on it, it can induce fear to whoever heard it that will make them panic.
Fred started shivering lightly and his face became pale looking very terrified.
He felt the fear in him growing and creeping into his whole body, but then something warm from inside him countered it and forced it out of his body.
The fear that he was feeling earlier was gone in just a blink of an eye.
And the pale looking face of Fred also came back to normal. He took a deep breath, and exhaled loudly, trying to expel the heaviness in his heart.
*Pheww~*
He contemplated if he should head in that direction or just go back home and report this place to the authorities.
He feels like whatever that monster on the other side is, it is very powerful and that can be felt by just that roar.
Even though it was countered by what he thinks is his soul as for how he will think about it later. He thought it's the soul cause he felt that warmth earlier when he ate the fruit or Golden Apple.
It was stated that it can strengthen the soul, and when he ate it, the chill he felt when he first entered the dungeon was gone. So he guessed that it's his soul.
But after thinking about it, he gritted his teeth and finally decided to go and continue forward to the end of this dungeon.
Although it might sound idiotic to decide like this, he remember the saying, "High risk, High reward!"
Even if he already got so many good things in this room, he can't help but think of "what if there is something more valuable there?" or "Will there be a peerless treasure in this place?"
He is also thinking that if he did not see the end of this, he will not be able to rest his thoughts and there might even be someone that will go after him cause this place is a guarded place, so it just means that someone is managing it even though it seems like it's hidden from the public or even the government.
"That loud roar... if there is a beast here, what causes it to roar ferociously?" mumbled Fred, "Is there someone that came to it?... It's plausible, they might be the accomplice of those thugs outside. If that's so, I should hurry!"
With the decision finalized, he decided to go, he put the last box into the ring for now making the room empty, not even the treasure chest is spared.
Fred started to run at full speed. In just a short amount of time, he arrived at the in T intersection.
He continued running straight ahead towards the left part of the intersection not slowing down his speed.
It took him roughly about 10 minutes even while he was running at full speed. This path is much longer than the straight path from the stairs and the one on the right combine.
A horrifying scene unveiled in front of Fred.
In a very wide space about the size of half a basketball court, bloodied figures can be seen all over the place.
He saw blood flowing on the ground making a few puddles red in color. Human limbs and a few bodies littered the ground.
There also seems like a few people with severed legs or having only one arm trying to crawl away from this place.
But then, they were grabbed by a big black hand, they tried to flail around trying to escape from it but without success and were dragged towards the middle of the wide area.
In there sitting is a giant with a fully black body which is about 7 feet in height, wide, buff, and seemingly full of power. It's face is like it was burned down and was sprayed with acid with how hideous it looks.
It opened its mouth and bit the humans on it's hand. Blood burst out from the bodies and their flailing limbs lost its power.
*Crunch Crunch*
The crunching sound of bones being chewed echoes in this space, there was no other sound that can be heard other than that.
Fred was stunned by the scene and was not able to move, but when he saw the arms of the giant grabbing on the humans, he immediately hid the large stone that he found at the side. With it, he can't be seen by the gigantic black monster.
Fred feel his heart beating so fast as he try to slow down his breathing. His throat feels dry, his back drenched with cold sweat.
'I'm so f*cking stupid! Why did I go to this place!' cursed out Fred, as he made an expression as if he swallowed a fly.
He already forgot about his thoughts about some treasure or peerless precious objects.
'What precious object, the only thing I see here is death!'
All he can think of now is how to escape from here without being noticed. Since the path is just a straight line, he will be noticed if he uses that cause there is no cover for him.
He calmed down his loudly beating heart. Listening to the sound of crunching bones behind him makes the hair on his skin stand up.
He slowly turns around and peek at the black monster through the rock that is shielding him from the sight of that giant.
The giant finished eating all the "meat" on it's hand, it turned to a corner and grabbed a 2 meter stick-like thing with smoke coming out from the tip of it. It's actually smoke as he puts it on its mouth and blows out smoke.
Fred used his appraisal skills on it and a screen appeared in front of him.
