After escaping from Valeria's feast on that blade dancer and perhaps some of the other adventurers, I continue my hunting. The guys that were taken out of the picture by Valeria we're the strongest bunch around so I can move around unhindered. Mostly at least.

Some groups are still too strong for me to take on and I don't fancy dying for nothing. Therefore, I simply harass them with my venomous mist breath whenever we meet before escaping by leading them to a group of skeleton knights.

Weaker teams have it worse. They hardly stand a chance under the suppression of my weak sanguine venom. To make matters worse for them, their constant bleeding provides me with a permanent supply of blood. Whenever they don't pay attention, a blood edge arrives to claim their lives.

And if all of the above did not kill them yet, then my fangs and tail certainly will.

I am WHAT?

This place has a basement?

Still, to think that they would care so much. I'm not even that strong yet.

I open the dungeon map and indeed a group of red dots has recently entered and is moving through the hallways at a quick pace. They actively avoid the green dots representing the skeleton knights and seem to be looking for something. They do look to be hunting for me.

I move towards the next group of skeleton knights that they will pass and wait for them there while breathing out as much venom as I can.

The team of adventurers soon appears in my vision and I know that I'm in trouble. The team is not a permanent one and the members are pretty mixed up but I recognize one of them.

He's a member of the divine huntsmen adventurer team.

I met him at a few events I went to because of my former master to meet other young talents. His archery was strong back then and while I could still beat him by using my full power, I doubt I'll even stand a chance now.

The moment he lays eyes on me, he draws an arrow from his quiver and takes aim. I am too far away to return fire so I move behind a skeleton knight while observing.

The arrow is set loose and I barely have time to react as it penetrates through the skeleton knight before me. The arrow gives off a sacred feeling like a priest's holy element attacks and I barely have the time to move my head before my skull is penetrated and the void returns to take me into its embrace.

Still, to think he could kill me so easily. I felt like I stood no chance to even dodge that. And what was that sacred feeling the arrow gave off?
