About an hour before he made a call to reach out to the king of Gamekh, the Governor-general of the revolutionary army received a messenger in his quarters. He noticed that the man seemed frantic upon entering the door. There was this hint of dread on the envoy's expression.
"Milord! A message from Gamekh.. and it's brought by one of their eagles..", stated the slightly panicking courier as he handed a small scroll to his superior.
"You seem to be in distress, my friend..", remarked the Governor-general while smiling reassuringly under the shroud of his hunter's hood. "Sending messages through those reliable birds doesn't necessarily mean trouble. They're just probably being weary of the Shogunate locating us via our 'console commands'.."
