"You've been quiet almost the whole time..", remarked Satsuki as she stared at her partner with a hint of loneliness in her grayish blue eyes. "Is there something bothering you, Erida-kun?"
The orange rays of the setting sun reflected on Seijurou's glasses as if hiding the obvious discomfort projected by his eyes. His avoidance to speak of the truth led him to stare at an empty space inside Satsuki's healing ward room, evading her unrelenting gaze.
"It's nothing. Like I said, I'm probably just tired..", lied Seijurou with a chuckle while scratching his head awkwardly. He still desperately dodged his partner's glances.
"Liar..", plainly put Satsuki, catching Seijurou off guard. She then sat up on the side of her bed and patted the space beside her with her hand. "Also.. you've been standing far away from me since you came here.. it's like you've been very distant. Why don't you sit beside me?"
