The once brilliantly burning beacon eventually faded into nothing but a flicker, but it was still bright enough to dimly illuminate the entire mountain, failing to eliminate any traces of lingering shadows around.

"Kasumi!" yelled Kazuma as he rushed towards the girl who he likes the most, but the massive bear roared and the flames went a little wilder, quickly prompting him to halt. "Stay back! It's dangerous! It might hurt you!"
Shinso caught a glimpse of the creature and the priestess as he shot another shadow with his lightning spell. "Well, what do we have here? Don't tell me that bear is the source of all this ruckus. What a fascinating spell."
