A ringing silence pierced through Seijurou's ears, indicating the complete emptiness of the pitch dark place he and the silver-haired boy were in.
The two stared at each other almost like they were prosecuting themselves through thought alone as they stood motionless inside the seemingly meaningless void space.
"You sound as if you've been in existence for a very long time," Seijurou finally broke the disconcerting quietness while rearranging his battle-goggles. "With someone like you in front of me, I think it's safe to say that I've been meeting quite a lot of deceivingly young individuals lately."
The child nodded while smiling faintly like he had not done in a long period of time. "You are very perceptive, young one. I have indeed existed in this world even before your forefathers cried for the first time outside of your foremothers' wombs."
