"Why did you even bring me here?..", asked Chizuru as she and Nana trudged into a large cave not far from the city. "It smells like hog poop.."
If not for daylight passing through the tunnel-like entrance of the area and some faint lighting at the end of the wide path, the entire area would have been shrouded in complete darkness. Nevertheless, the young ranger still kept her unique technique activated.
"It's because boars make this place their home. Even the great Erymanthos used to make this his own lair..", answered Nana with a smirk as she guided her younger companion through the somehow established trail. "If you see one.. don't mind them. They're mostly docile unless threatened."
Chizuru scowled at the Elven huntress in between her scouring for potential threats. "You don't have to tell me that.. I can see each and everyone of them."
"I see that you're keeping your 'Serpent's Sense' activated..", pointed Nana out teasingly. "You still don't trust me after all this time?"
