Soon the rays of sunlight entered the room, as my eyes awakened themselves, I rolled over assuming that Seiko would be around, but rather than finding warmth next to me, all was an empty side of a bed. Was last night just a dream?, it probably was. I mean I was alone in my own room now, no longer in the room that me and my mate had once shared, time had moved. "Morning love", shouted an overly joyful Seiko as he entered the room, a tray full of breakfast resting on his hands. There were three pancakes glistening from the maple drizzled lightly on them, and with that my stomach growled.
"Looks like someone's hungry", chuckled Seiko, happily as he set the tray next to me on the bed side table. His eyes dropped towards mine, until I could see them clearly, filled with a strong dominant desire. Then of course, his beautiful lips met mine and we were locked in a short but passionate kiss, but he soon broke that and laid by my side and let out a deep sigh.
"You know, I wish we could wake up together everyday", beep beep beep Seiko's watch went off.
"Sorry gotta go"
"Bye, have a good day"
"Will do, bye love", with that he left a quick kiss on my cheek and headed out the door.
Seiko's Perspective:
Today was the morning meeting where me and some of the board pack members would discuss what would happen with Hera, whether he would continue to be my mate or if he wouldn't. As badly as I wanted to tell Hera about it, I just couldn't not until we knew what would happen to him. The whole meeting ran pretty long, all the way till late afternoon, it mostly consisted of everybody arguing about how long until me & Hera had until we needed to have the marking ceremony. At the end it was decided due to his current rate of recovering, we would only have two months, after that I would need to find another mate, which was still shocking even though it had been an hour since everybody had come down to this conclusion.
Soon it was time to leave and head home, a part of me was nervous while another was angry at myself for hiding the meeting from Hera. That all changed when I walked into my bedroom and saw Hera, he was sleeping so softly wrapped cutely in some warm blankets.
I headed to the shower, thankfully I was able to control my thoughts slightly better now, heading back into the room with a steady and calm head, I was finally ready to tell Hera, but was it the right thing to do?Should I wait or not?Eventually I realized that there wasn't a point in dealing it any further.
"Hey, Hera, umm I gotta talk to you", with a few tosses and turns he finally woke up.
"Whats up"
"Well, I had a meeting today and basically we need to have our mating ceremony in the next 2 months, otherwise I'd need to find a new mate"
"Why?, we've already mated though"
"I know, but it's still customary whether or not we've already mated or not"
"Alright, that's fine then, how about in 2 weeks?"
"Come on, take this seriously, it's not a joke"
"I know, so let's just get it over with"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I would love to follow this custom"
"Alright"
With that the discussion ended and we both headed downstairs to eat some dinner. Originally Hera wanted to make it alone, but I insisted on helping him and so together we created a wonderful pizza for dinner. It was definitely one of the best pizza's I had ever had, then we headed to the living room to watch movies all the way until midnight.
