"I really can't take this child... You are leaving so soon? You won't even compromise will you?" Sir Bernardez asked as he wiped imaginary tears from the corner of his eyes.
"Sir—" she started but was interrupted.
"You ain't trying to be formal with me now are you? How many times is it now that I told you to not be so formal with me. Call me dad! Call me dad!" Sir Bernardez voiced.
"Ah.." Rhea opened her mouth but closed it eventually.
"You really can't say it? You are setting that much of a boundary?" He questioned.
Rhea looked down in guilt. It was not that she could call him dad, in fact, he had treated her better than her own father. But she still had a trauma for the word "dad".
Previously, there had only been one person she saw as a father. Even when he abandoned her, she still thought of him as her father in her heart. But reality stuck her later on. She just cannot have a father again.
