"President, I've got some news for you!"
Inside a room which most likely had the resemblance of a study, a man in his fifties relaxed his back against the leather chair, his fingers casually hovering around the handle of the mug cup on the table.
The movement of his hands stopped and it seems as though he would lift the cup to his mouth any moment. Just then, following a hurried footsteps, opening of the door and closing it with a thud, the hand holding the cup shook slightly.
His lips dipped into a frown. He raised his head and threw a cold glare at the door. The one who had just entered felt his spirit escape his body. If not for so many years of training his soft legs might have crumbled on spot.
"Steph?"
"I-I am sorry President, for– for disturbing you but this time, I have very urgent news that you must listen to!" Following his boss' word, this young man named Steph hurriedly apologized and admitted to his fault.
