"Are you satisfied now?" Carter asked looking at the woman who was dragging so many shopping bags all by herself and refused to let him help her.
She threw a glance at him, "hmmph!" She harrumphed and continued walking towards the car. He had finally fulfilled his promise and went with her on her shopping spree. She shopped in at least ten stores before she finally stopped.
He rubbed his throbbing forehead and walked after the woman. When the got to the car, he helped her to open the door and she singlehandedly dropped everything she bought into the car. She sat down and jammed the door after her to his face.
That woman.... He thought but he could not just bring himself to getting angry at her. After all, he chose to indulge her so much as long as he could.
