Carter shifted his gaze from her eyes to her lips and quickly looked dart away. "Don't look, don't be tempted!" He chided himself in his mind.
"Please, please, please...." Her pleading intensified. She tugged at his sleeve and scratched the back of his hand with her fingers. However, no matter how cute she tried to act, the guy still kept up with his indifference look. He was even looking away from her!
Claire became infuriated and hit his chest angrily. The man looked around them first before narrowing his gaze at her.
