The large bean surrounding Chisana faded, her pale ivory skin coming into view. She stretched, deep black scales covering parts of her body. Her pale blue eyes gleamed as she looked out over everything around her, but she could only sigh. As she sighed, her eyes lit up.
"Oh. Echolocation got an upgrade? Sound to see clearly... easy enough."
She kept her voice low, aware of the succubus now watching her. Chisana yawned slightly, her hair waving into her face as she began stretching. Her eyes lit up wildly.
"Silvery hair! Just like Mina- Ah shit. Got loud. Fufu... oh well."
Chisana looked at the succubus, the violet eyes gleaming.
"So girl, do you want to fight hand to hand... or fight with dreams? Could be fun with that evolution you pulled out of your ass."
"A veteran against a newbie? Might actually give me a serious chance. How do we do this?"
The succubus looked back at the sleeping girls, her clouds rolling over them.
"Use your Dream Magic. They will dream twice, each simultaneous dream fighting over the person they're holding onto. Whoever has the winning dream will gain control over that person, or well... you'll free them."
"I don't think that sounds very fair. Wouldn't your own magic surpass mine?"
"Dreams are based on emotion and personality... we can't influence those unless our dream conquers them. I'll tell you, I give nightmares when I challenge others."
"Before we begin, could you tell me who you are?"
"I'm a legend forgotten in time. I was put in here by some old prick, left to wait for who knows how long. It's a pain, but I don't starve nor do I get attacked often."
"Vex..."
Chisana sat beside the elder succubus, both exuding a powerful aura of control and desire. Forming her Dream Clouds, Chisana could see the light pink now.
'They look really soft. Maybe Mina can find more uses since I'm not abandoning her? She's been helping me... so it's my turn!'
Her clouds exploded, each separate puff landing on the girls around them. They didn't get devoured by the deeper pink ones, but fought them off. They were almost equal, though Chisana could no longer see them. Her vision had faded as sound became barren in the room.
'Focus on their dreams... make them happy! Their truest desire shall be laid bare... oh boy. This could be fun and risky!'
Becoming faint, Chisana could feel her mind pulled away into seven different directions. Nearby, the succubus was looking at her with fear.
"She just... invaded seven dreams? The hell are you?"

"What do you mean our High Priestess can no longer channel her magics?! Her light barrier was all that kept us safe from countless beasts and marauders! We are no longer safe from the corruption behind the fire."
An elderly man slammed his hands down on a table, knocking the contents over. His white robe flared as he turned away from the other man in the room.
"Find a new use for her, then find a new High Priestess. We will need to get things back to normal as soon as possible."
Outside of the room, a girl barely breaking into adulthood was staring down at the ground. Her bloody red eyes were gleaming as she dashed down the hall, her tight fitting gear causing her body to fade as she increased her speed.
The girl had entered a hidden room within the large assortment of buildings kept by the church. She climbed a spiral staircase, avoiding the many broken steps as she ascended. At the top, she entered the room. It was small and cramped, a girl barely dressed laying out on a bed in the corner.
"Is it that hot, Lily?"
The girl sat up, her immodest body swaying softly as she stared at the intruder.
"Mai... they're getting rid of me. Get me out, take me where I can finally live freely! Somewhere in the forest, I felt my magic taken that way."
"So you did feel it? That would mean anyone else with light magic will head that way to figure out what happened, though many will die on the way without their power. Do you wish to go?"
Lily nodded, hopping to her feet. Mai sighed, grabbing a robe and draping it over the nearly naked girl.
"We leave tonight."
That night, two shadows left the church, unaware of the third that trailed after them.

"My King... what do you mean? You wish to keep an alliance barred from them?"
Rin knelt inside of a large wooden room. All around, small torches were lightless as Rin faced off with the Elf King.
The King looked down at her from his thrown, his long blond hair trailing over the side of his seat. His head was laid upon his hand.
"Rin, make no mistake. They are strong, but that is all. Our people will rule them all one day, we shall be victorious over every last one."
His voice carried no desire, almost as if he was just stating facts. Getting to his feet, he walked towards Rin.
"You know where they are, so you'll lead a small militia of our forces to remove of them. They would make our race seem pitiful, traipsing about in our lands."
Rin's eyes were bulging as she got to her feet.
In a burst of rage, a blade of wind was sent towards Rin. Her body split in half, collapsing to the ground.
"Should've known better. She was always skillful with the winds. Why not a wind duplicate?"
The body vanished in a puff of wind, the true Rin already leaving the land of the Elven Kingdom.
'Something unsettling has been bothering me since I came back. Now I see what it truly was... my own people are no longer their true selves. I'll need to head somewhere I know is safe. Mina, I pray for your safety.'
