"I feel like I have failed!" He said and closed his eyes leaning his head back on the wall.
"Why do you feel like this?" Zehra asked peeking at him from his shoulder.
"I wasn't there when you needed me the most, I wasn't there when you wanted my support, my love! How can I say that I have succeeded in my duty when I have failed?"
"I wasn't there to see the joy on your face when you have found out about the news of pregnancy, neither I was there to share your happiness, not your grief! You were alone when you found out the baby is no more, you were alone through every difficulty in which I have promised you that I will be by your side. But I wasn't." Saying this the tears made their way out of his eyes and descended to his cheek disappearing in his stubble.
Zehra leaned away from his shoulder and sat in front of him on her knees, she wiped his tears gently away.
