She kept whimpering keeping her head on his chest, and he kept caressing her hair while speaking some comforting words to her.
After few moments when her whimpering turned into sniffles, he leaned back to see her face. Her face was all red and swollen due to crying, her nose red and she was clutching his t-shirt in her fragile fists.
