Lora flies and lands in a nearby town, still in the North kingdom. She quickly snatched a cloak off a rusty cart and slipped it on, hiding her wings. The little angel walks down the streets calmly, basically looking like a human commoner.
Malcoy leaps out an open window in the castle and transforms into a large dragon. His dragon form was all black, having a long tail and neck, two great big wings for his front limbs and two back legs. Malcoy had two long horns that came out the back of his head. The great dragon flew across the land and traveled fast and swift in the air. He sniffed for her scent.
Lora sees him overhead and quickly rushes into a shop, bargaining for some sort of perfume. She eventually walks out with it on. Lora can hear her stomach growl from not getting food since her capture. She looks around curiously, demons of all different sizes and shapes walking, crawling, and slithering around on the streets and in the alleyways.
Malcoy over the town, desperately looking and smelling. His clamps abruptly tighten on his wings and he crashes down on the ground nearby.
Demons look over where he crashed, Lora hears but ignores it. She walks into a bar to hide. Inside, Lora scrambles onto a barstool to blend in.
Malcoy gets up slowly, grunting in pain. He changes back to his normal form. He winces in pain and walks into town. Malcoy stepped into the bar for a drink, bloody. He wanted a drink quickly before he headed out again. Malcoy didn't expect an angel to be in here.
Lora slowly drinks from her glass, it tasted so awful but she couldn't get caught or look suspicious. She had herself covered enough anyway to not look like an angel. Lora refuses to make eye contact with him, trying to mind her business. Her non-angel look was light blue eyes, with dark brown hair, able to make herself look like her human form when she had been alive on earth.
Malcoy scans the bar as he gets a drink, his fists covered in blood.
Lora sips her drink again and can feel her face go pale 'God, this tastes terrible, how do they drink this stuff?'
Malcoy grabs her, Lora turns to face him. "Come with me." He demanded.
Lora raises an eyebrow "why?"
"I need help."
Lora frantically thinks 'it's a trap...play dumb' she clears her throat "I'm sorry but I can't help you." She turns away.
"I'm a prince." He said sternly.
Lora thinks 'PLAY DUMB', her eyes widen and does a half bow "I'm sorry your majesty."
Malcoy says again, "I need your help."
"I understand"
"Follow."
Lora nods and Malcoy takes her hand firmly, leading her to a separate room. His blood covered her hand but Lora followed. She couldn't do anything to stop him.
Malcoy closes the door and Lora is looking up at him. The clamps on his wrist were cutting off Malcoy's circulation. Lora's eyes go wide when she sees them.
Malcoy looks like he's about to faint. "I know it's you...humans don't live in hell…"
"Malcoy, listen to me. If I'm going to help you I need you to do something for me. You cannot take me back to that cell, nor have anyone try and keep me there."
"You need to…"
Lora crosses her arms, "no. Otherwise I'm not helping you."
Malcoy looks at his clamps, "fine…"
Lora touches his clamps and the rest of them melt away.
Malcoy sighs in relief and sinks to the floor. His hands were so bloody and raw.
Lora held herself back from hugging him. She thinks 'he probably doesn't even know what a hug is.' Lora sighs "I'm just...glad you're ok." She walks over and kisses his forehead, turning to leave.
"Wait."
"Yes?"
"You should stick with me."
Lora scowls at him, "I'm not going back to the cell if that's what you mean."
Malcoy gets up, "no, it's not."
Lora looking up at him, she looks confused "then what do you mean?"
Malcoy glares at her, and says "an angel in hell, you really think you will last long."
Lora hesitates but says, "you make a fair point but what do you suggest I do about it?"
Malcoy doesn't respond.
Lora frowns at him, "why do you even care? I thought demons don't feel emotions."
"I don't."
"Then why are you acting concerned?"
"Look. I don't care. But listen to me, I will be blamed for your disappearance and I'm not ready."
Lora nods a little, "I just want to figure out how to blend in here since there's no way back up where I need to be."
Malcoy growls at her, "as far as I'm concerned I'm a prince of the North. So just don't worry about your appearance. I'm one of the strongest demons to mess with."
Lora tried to keep a straight face. Attempting to keep herself from dying laughing.
Malcoy punches her in the face, she winces but doesn't seem too bothered by it. Malcoy snarls "shut up, will you? I'm going to need you to do something."
Lora looks at him Unsurely about this. Mainly because he just punched her. "Oh? And what's that?"
"We can talk about it when we get back. But we need to go back now."
Lora backs away from him she says quietly "I'm not going back...I'm going to get locked away again."
Malcoy looks at her firmly, "no, you won't. I have a plan, I'm only doing this to save my head and it includes yours not being cut off too. After we're done I don't have to deal with you anymore."
Lora smiles at him, "oh, then it's a deal." Malcoy nods and walks out, he hisses at her sharply "let's go."
Lora follows Malcoy out the bar, staying close. As much of a joke it was to her, she knew he was stronger then that demon guard from the reaper king. So she decided that sticking with him on the way back wouldn't be too bad of an idea.
Now that Malcoy mentioned that her appearance stood out more than she thought to her, Lora could see demons were staring at herfeom all over. She ignored them and was focused on what's ahead. But as she continued to walk her angelic glow started to become more and more visible. Lora can't keep her human look on long.
