Chapter 1 - Ch. 1: She’s Beauty and Fierce

Golden eyes with long and full lashes began to flutter open in this early morning. The sun was hardly up, the sky was beautiful, dark blue skies met pink and then orange as the sun rose in the East. A bit of drool was on her face which was a beautiful hazel tone. Her long dark hair was a bit messy but will be tamed momentarily.

Although this young girl who goes by Belle, had just went to sleep two before, she couldn't help but have a burst of energy currently. Today was a special day at Rose Academy.

Lifting her arms slightly above her head, she stretched and yawned. Her eyes darting over to her roommate, a beautiful honey blonde with dark green eyes, long lashes as well, and a small scar on her forehead from a childhood accident. Despite the scar, Ayae was beautiful and very cheerful and energetic. But around boys it was a different story. Something they both shared.

Belle quietly got up and headed to their share bathroom to start cleaning and dressing herself. Her hair in a mid high ponytail, a few strands out to frame her face, a mid length plaid black and blue skirt, a button up white collar shirt and of course a dark blue matching sweater with the white rose crest on the right side. She also had on thigh high stockings with black Mary Janes.

Once out the bathroom, she immediately started grabbing stuff from her desk and putting it in her bag. Ayae was finally up, and although she was energetic...she was not a morning person.

"Ahh! I wish mornings didn't come so fast!" She whined.

"Well when do you expect them to come? At night?" Belle chuckled.

"Ugh! You will never understand my pain!" She fell back in bed and threw her sun kissed skin tone arms up. "Oh why can't I just win the lottery or something and never go to school or work another day in my life- oh! Speaking of work!" She hoped out of bed and ran over to her close friend. "That new clothing store is hiring at the mall! We need to go there and apply!"

Belle stopped, she couldn't do that. She had other after school activities to attend to.

"Um..I'm not sure if I-"

"Can't make it?! I'll bring you the application. But I'm gonna go get dress for school next. Oh yeah! That lady who wrote them books are coming today...uh... what's her name again?"

"Druscilla Panté"

"Right her!" She laughing and quickly went into the bathroom.

Belle sighed and headed out the door. Honestly aside from that particular activity she did have other after school activities. She takes martial art classes. Well a secret one. In a dojo hidden far into the woods on the outskirts of town. The owner of said Dojo was Sai'id. A man who saved her when she was 7 years old and adopted her. He was the only one who knew about her abilities since he too has similar ones, and since then he had trained her intensively in martial arts and the art of killing the creatures, he also enrolled her in Rose Academy, Rose Academy grades start from kindergarten til your final year. He himself was a slayer of them as well since he lost his family to them.

Skyline City was a huge city in Japan. And although Belle herself wasn't born in said city, she did enjoy it. Aside from the demonic creatures that inhabited. But little by little she was trying clear out and protect her hometown. And had to do this and balance a school life and a social life. Although the social life part was failing. Terribly....

As Belle continued down the steps she could hear voices as she reached the bottom to the first floor from the fourth floor.

She peaked around a corner and seen her Headmaster Rina and a senior from her school, Diana, speaking.

Rina was very scary woman in terms of personality that is. Looking pass that, she was a beautiful woman. Pale skin, dark eyes, short black hair that stopped at mid neck. She also never wore dresses. Always in a suit to look more professional she says. Diana, she was a brown skin beauty from southern islands. Dark brown hair that was in loose waves, brown beautiful eyes and a beauty mark on her right cheek.

Diana was said to be the sweetest student in school, but Belle couldn't help but dislike her. It was just something about her.

"Ms.Belle, Are you done eavesdropping?" Rina called you her without turning around. Belle gawked, she never understood how she knew. Belle stepped from her hiding spot and both Rina and Diana turned to her. Diana with her usual smile and Rina with her usual scowl and folded arms.

"I apologize but I didn't hear anything you two were speaking of."

"Good. I don't need another nosey person here." Rina growled.

Belle swallowed and looked down. "Again, I am terribly sorry."

"Are you going to the auditorium to hear the new announcements?" Diana asked. "If you are, we can walk together."

Belle made a face, "No thank you." She folded her arms as well as Diana sweat dropped.

No way someone is always that sweet.

"Well i advise you to get going right now, you might want to get a good seat this morning."

"R-right!" She bower slightly and continued to head down.

Both Rina and Diana smirking as they watched her turn a corner.

Belle had finally hit the auditorium and after that the day went by how it usually does, boring school work, music class and lunch. And to top it off, gym. Sadly the Author has canceled, apparently that was the news.

So now school was ending and it was time to go to the Dojo, where her adoptive father was.

******

While sweeping outside was a young man, no more than 22 in age. Short black hair and black headphones for listening to music, he wore a pair of black Hakama and a black haori with wooden clog shoes. He was another student...lazy but good enough that he didn't get sent away.

Belle was approaching with a bag that had clothes for her to change in.

"Sasuke!" Belle called and the male looked over with a smile. He removed his head phones and greeted her.

"You're here a bit late."

"I know. I got stopped a few times by a woman saying she see ghosts and monsters. She said no one else can see them."

"Well she's wrong. To some degree..."

Before they could finish their conversation, they was interrupted...

A rock flew fast at her and she caught it with one hand. Both of them turned to the source, and stood a few feet away was Sai'id himself in a black kimono. He was old, 65 was his age and yet he didn't let that stop his incredible speed, strength and fighting style.

"Good reflexes.. but you still have much to learn." He said while walking up. A wrinkled face, a white beard and mustache to go with his mid length back white hair. He also has sky blue eyes.

They both bowed before him.

"Master Sai'id I thought you were sleep." Sasuke said.

"You lack paying attention to your surroundings, that will be your downfall. I came outside to watch yo since you started." His eyes averted over to Belle who was now staring back at him. "Belle, today lesson will be you meditating."

"What?! Again?!" She whined.

He glared at her and it made her feel small as a person. "Fine.." she sighed out and headed in.

While inside she changed into the outfit he had given her. It was a pair of black hakama and a black haori with a blue .... around her. Resembling Sasuke but his sash was white.

She moved to the back of the large room and sat Indian style on the ground. Her eyes closed and she began to relax her mind and body.

It didn't take long though since she has done this enough.

He wanted her to embrace life the best she could, it was a proper way to control her abilities.

But she also realized this did help her to a degree with them. But she still wanted to know how far her abilities went.

As she continued meditating she felt that all too familiar presence. A demon was near.

She quickly stood up and ran outside, looking around. They was out their too, they could feel it as well.

"Belle, new task. Kill the demon."

She smirked devilishly and summoned her twin war fans. They were silver and had a blue design engraved into them. They were a gift from Sai'id's now deceased friend.

She dashed out and quickly made her way to the source by jumping from tree to tree at a fast speed.

When she almost upon it, a tentacle dashed out towards her and she jumped quickly out the way and threw a fan at it causing it to retreat when the fan sliced of a piece. The fan boomeranged back to her and she caught it with ease.

She landed on the ground and ran and followed the retreating tentacles and was now finally face to face with it.

This demon had resembled a boar with large tusks and on the back was four large tentacles.

"Disgusting!" It yelled out in a grouchy voice. It charged at her and jumped out the way and landed on its neck.

"Are you sure you want to talk about things that are disgusting? Your smell alone should be enough."

A tentacle tried piercing her from behind and she dodged and threw a fan at it to slice it off. The demon yelled in pain and as it stuck it's tongue out at her, a ball of hot pink appeared there and launched at her.

While still in the air she kicked it away and smirked.

She landed back on the ground and pointed the now closed fan at it. The smirk still playing on her face as she spoke, "And here we go!" She jumped a few feet in their and opened her right fan, " As harsh as a raging storm-" a radiating light blue light began surrounding the object in hand as the demonic boar began charging at her. " Break the air, Wind Slice."

With a quick slash of her fan, a powerful slice was made and in less then a second the boar was stopped in place and spilt open along with the two trees near it, slowly both sides slid down and apart. The body began to burn and quickly turned to ash.

Belle stood above with nothing but a grin. She always loved the thrill of a fight.
