Continuing his testing, Jason tried each of the other true elements in both spirit and arcane energy's. Each one preformed the same fundamentally with few nuances, spirit let him convert it temporarily into a physical nature as long as he could maintain the energy consumption.
Arcane was to actually create something and instruct particle actions indirectly saving the user from need to constantly maintain its focus and allowing permanent changes to take place. He couldn't drink water formed from spirt energy but he could arcane!
The drain of spirit energy ended up being of very little concern, his limiter wasn't the consumption rate but more the volume to which he could convert at once, it made it harder to maintain focus since he could feel each individual particle very clearly, it could overwhelm his senses after a certain point. Trying to make a ball of water past about a meter proved to be his limit.
Having realized he had forgotten about his eyes ability to bring absolute clarity, and many different views he tried again using them. Remembering the feeling during his advancement he drew his True Base Essence from the gateway, into the the core rune in his Divine Spirit Core and then one directly to each eye.
Flooded with many different visuals, he ignored the ones that couldn't detect his spirit energy. Then feeding his eyes base essence he expanded the range of his absolute vision to encompass where he would create the ball of water.
Initiating the shift the ball of water effortlessly grew to a meter slowing down until it he had to stop around a 10m diameter. His eyes granted him a new level of cognitive focus, pushing past 10m made it begin to grow unstable so he would shrink it back down before it collapsed.
'A ten times multiplication to my focus and control is incredible holy shit!' Jason was thinking with immense excitement. 'Alright, I understand the basic idea arcane and spirit both have very unique uses. Overall the ideas are pretty easy, I just need to practice more and experiment. I wonder what happens if I try creating an arcane rune with spirit energy and then metalize it?'
Doing that exactly right away he formed the rune for water control with true water aspect spirit energy. When he metalized it the rune faded away, then like a void replaced it sucking in spirit force indiscriminately.
'What the hell? Did it work, or did I just do something I wasn't supposed to?'
Just before he was about to retract his spirit force, water began forming a sphere reaching around a meter a second it continued at that rate showing no sign of stopping.
Cutting the tap he prohibited his spirit force from being sucked into it any further, the ball had reached a 20m diameter, and he could feel each and every particle clearly connected to him. He quickly noticed the ball was slowly shrinking without the constant input of his spirt energy but it maintained form.
'Odd I can't seem to feed it more energy to grow now? I can't move it like arcane energy it just ignores it like its not there, and the second I touch it with spirit energy it would only absorb a little to retain it's current size but I can't make it grow or reform to the previous size. Wait my soul force is still attached to each particle individually.'
Attempting to commune with it he was able to manipulate it with thought rather than trying to physically direct it.
"That's it!" Jason called out figuring out a hint of it's nature. Jason pulled some water away to form a second sphere next to it. Once he stopped directing it the ball dissolved back into the original one.
'Okay so I can use it like a reservoir that's easier to maintain, that's amazing! Once I stop feeding spirit energy completely my soul force inside resonates making it like a proxy I can then manipulate at will or just maintain with spirit energy like arcane only if I stop directing it itll return to whatever the original instructions. So the rune sets the property's, the spirit force fed determines the volume and then soul force can be used to manipulate it slightly.'
Jason split the ball into 10 smaller ones leaving none of the original sending them to the far corners of the room. Waiting a moment he observed that he still had to feed spirt energy into the original point of conception to maintain them, and his soul force connected to that point and then spread out connecting to each of the smaller spheres.
letting go of them they rushed back to the point of conception and reformed the original ball of water. Pulling his soul force away the spirit energy faded returning again to the world rather than him.
'Wait so if arcane runes work with spirit, could I use a different aspects control runes with different aspects energy too?'
As he tried to manipulate fire energy into the shape of the true water aspect control rune his, as the the same streams started to form towards the shape he suddenly felt an immense resistance slowing down the shaping process to a snails pace.
"Just a... little bit more... come on... come on.." Jason pushed back against the resistance, the rune was so close to fully forming only about 10% remained. Pushing with more and more water aspect arcane energy his spirit core was nearly on maximum output and his head started hurting but it only had a small part left.
Space was twisting and shaking in the grand hall and Oberin who had been forming new array's was distracted by the unexpected disturbance. 'What the hell is that kind doing up there, something feels very wrong?!'
Looking into the room he felt a wave of shock, then immense fear. -"STOP, STOP, STOP!"- Oberin screamed into the soul link, but his shouts were too late.
BOOOM!
A shock wave exploded sending Jason flying back over 100m. Quickly standing up feeling a little concussed, and realizing that standing up that fast wasn't the best idea. He wobbled around regaining his bearings, when suddenly he felt so very, very hot.
-"What the hell have you just accomplished! DID YOU JUST USE A FIRE CONTROL RUNE WITH WATER! And how the fuck did that work, I don't know if you're insane of a genius, did you learn this in the Infinity Archive!?"- Oberin was mind shouting at him for the first time, it really rocked his sense back into play though.
Looking at where he just was there was a glowing azure blue ball sat with the water aspect fire control rune in its center.
On a closer look it was made of glowing water but it wasn't transparent at all, except for the rune at its core that could be clearly seen black as night compared to the normal azure colour of it, no flames came off its surface but he felt the heat from about 125m away.
-"Don't stand there, stabilizes the rune with your energy it doesn't seem to shrink without it just destabilize. QUICKLY!"-
Feeding his energy into the core rune it stopped flickering so erratically inside.
-"Alright, shrink the size to centimeter no slowly."-
The ball grew smaller but Jason noticed the energy he was draining wasn't of a true water aspect any longer. It was fundamentally different and on contact with his Divine Spirit Core his head hurt, but not unbearably.
He felt it was giving him more energy than it was keeping to stabilize, only about 1.01x but that was enough to shock him. The pain wasn't a very nice side effect though.
-"Are you refining your core rune with the energy? Did you know this would happen? Wait are you getting a positive energy return on this what the hell!?"-
"Oberin, I'm not enjoying this experience one bit, I didn't plan a shred of it either. If I try to drain it any faster it feels like more core runes going to pop open." Jason didn't have the focus from the pain to communicate with the soul link, so between clenched teeth he spoke aloud.
-"try cycling the energy through your meridian essence channels first, mixing it with your base infinity aspect arcane energy before absorbing it into the Divine Spirit Core it should ease the pain on the core and let the rest of your body deal with initial shock."-
Absorbing the unknown arcane energy through his pores into the meridian channels seemed to do the trick, it still burned but with each second it hurt less. His whole body was taking the brunt of the force instead of just the core infinity rune now.
Yet it also seemed to be a refinement process like he was cultivating. He could feel his whole body strengthen from it.
-"You just broke the laws of heavenly order of this world and your profiting from it, escaping heavenly punishment, in fact you probably just invented a whole new path there alone. Despite the laws being weak here that's still something that shouldn't be possible, I think I've figured out the difference between my infinity aspect and your own.
Yours doesn't just encompass everything that exists it also includes that which does and everything in-between, it literally has infinite potential and application. That sphere you produced gained its stability and form from your water aspect but then the rune was converting it by actually combusting it with the energy in the world around it to create the fire aspect merger into that.
I have an idea of what will happen, and I think you do too, but try doing the same making a true water control rune with the aspect of true fire just to humor me."-
-"Give me a second to adjust, the energy in my body is a little chaotic at the moment but I think even if I wanted to now I could directly draw forth that energy without drawing the water aspect, fire control rune.
While anything might be possible with my aspect, it seems I cant use it until I've absorbed and comprehended it. I just tried to draw out what I thought would be the product of fire aspect, and a water control rune while you said that, because I had just discovered that I could draw forth the other naturally at the moment.
It caused a rebound effect and gave me a splitting headache, I need to know the exact feeling and composition or it seems useless for now."-
Taking a breather, Jason briefly accumulated the energy he had lost in all his experiments, reaching his current peak of performance.
-"Alright, watch closely Oberin, I might have missed something. I didn't notice the profitable burning of the world energy until you pointed it out."-
Pulling the fire arcane energy out this time the process went the same in the start the resistance wasn't noticeable until he reached past 50% formation, at 90% it felt like he was a regular earth human bending steel rods with his bare hands.
Applying as much force as he could he was moving it slightly into the shape of the water control rune. Space started bending around them again this time Jason actually got to perceive the space warping and bending around the rune.
Being prepared this time he was standing 200m away from the conception of the rune, and it was good that he did.

This time the rune created an implosion on formation. Jason made sure to started feeding it the true fire aspect energy right away to just barely stabilize it.
-"Oberin are you seeing what I am?!!?"-
-"A liquid flaming fireball that emits no heat but burns in reverse!? The previous didn't emit any flames but this is different, It's literally liquid flames but the flame tail flows in reverse!"-
What Oberin meant was that since heat rises, one would see the flame lift from the source and dissipate, but this flame emitted no heat. It had the form of water as if it were to mimic a flame but the appearance of thick and viscous flame.
It made absolutely no logical sense to either of the two at first, but as the fire literally 'burned in reverse' the flame came down absorbing, It was literally liquifying energy.
-"Start siphoning the energy back now, I think we got the gist of what you can do here. The control rune decides the properties, and the aspects the form. The fire control rune with water aspect burned energy but appeared and acted as water, the water control rune with fire energy burned in reverse liquifying energy and appeared and acted as fire."-
Siphoning back the energy proved as painful as before but using the cycling of his meridians channels right away saved him some unneeded discomfort.
-"I can freely create the aspect of the water flame and the fire water, but I can't use the same control runes that created them, I need to find a brand new control rune for each to use them.
Otherwise I'm pretty sure if I feed this into a true fire rune it'll change again, so if I want to maintain the same property's and physical form I need one that controls it with out constantly resisting the laws each time I want to use them.
However, using those control runes might have a similar effect, I might just need to be stronger to use them. You said the law's were weak here, and I feel like its the world around me resisting not the energy so using these elsewhere might just be impossible for me right now.

Wait never mind, they're about 2.35 million kilometers away each, I asked it what the control rune for each was."-
Jason sighed, dashing out the ideal of manipulating these mystic energies possibly effortlessly for the time being.
-"That's fine, it will all come with time. Continue with your experiments, maybe keep the law breaking to a minimum. I was worried the heavens would retaliate and the citadel is low on energy as it is right now. I didn't just panic and shout at you about it for nothing."-
Feeling the soul link go distant again, Jason resumed his practice.
'Wait I could use them right now to cultivate faster? The energy they produce is more pure and results in far more base essence volume than the same amount the other world energies would. It's just a little hard on my body but that's why it seems to benefit me so much more, and allows me to utilize the aspect better within my body.'
"Ha, sorry Oberin, it's time for some serious law breaking." Jason laughed, drawing out two different arcane energies and forming the two control runes.
