Chapter 29 - CHAPTER - TWENTY NINE

After sending Bill off, he shared everything to Meilina, who listened attentively.

Thompson went out and drove his car, to meet his dear old friend, Joseph, who is retired professor in parapsychology.

When Joseph saw Thompson's car coming, he immediately came over the door to welcome him with an open arms.

Thompson entered the main door, when he saw Joseph coming towards him with a large grin on his face, he too gave him a big smile and went over to hug his dear friend.

They hugged each other tightly while patting each other's back. The two friends met after a every long time.

Joseph offered him tea with some delicious snacks and then asked why had he come to meet him after a so long time.

Thompson then took out the book.

Joseph saw the book and asked, " You came here for that book ! What kind of book is that ?? "

Thompson nodded his head and started to explain, " Joseph, this book here is an old book about paranormal mysteries written by Prof. Robert, who had died 10 years ago.

Somebody sold me this book, as you know I love to read and collect all kinds of books, that's I was happy to get another book in my collection. This book has been with me for 5 to 6 days now, but...." Thompson paused in the middle of his sentence.

Joseph, who was listening attentively from the start, saw his friend's silence.

So, he said, " But what Thompson, say it ?? "

Thompson took a deep breath and continued, " It's creating havoc in my house Joseph."

Joseph was surprised to hear this from Thompson. Because he knew Thompson very well from his college days.

Being a student of parapsychology, he used to talk about many paranormal and supernatural incidents with him in his college days, but Thompson used to ignore his words saying those were nothing but kids tale for him as he never believed in paranormal stuffs.

But today, this man in front of him was saying that this book is creating havoc in his house. Live experiences surely change people's thought, he mused.

Joseph then said, " Ok I understand, so, tell me now, Do you need any help from me? "

Thompson nodded his head and said, " Yes my dear friend, I do. I have come here to ask you for your advice regarding this matter. "

Joseph asked, " But tell me why would you think that this book is the one creating havoc in your house, it may be something or someone else in your house, who wants to play a prank on you."

Thompson shook his head and narrated everything which had happened because of the book.
