They walked a little and reached the main door, pushed and entered the front hall.
They kept the door open for a little brightness otherwise the hall was totally dark.
As they entered the hall, they were feeling suffocated, hence, some openings where absolutely necessary, so they switched on the torches and then opened only two windows to let the air come in.
After some time, they closed the doors.
They found that there were in all five windows and two more doors....
One was to the other end of the hall, which was closed.
There was one more door to go to the next room and that too was closed.
The entire hall was almost empty except six wooden chairs, one big wooden table and a small tea table. There was no carpet on the floor.
They dusted the chairs and the big table, kept their baggage etc on it and settle down.
The floor was dusty, but they didn't feel it necessary to clean it as they were wearing shoes.
Henry got up, walked to the open window and found that the entire building was surrounded by wild plants tall enough to reach the first floor.
Hence, it was obvious that the ground floor would remain dark as the sun rays could not enter the room through the windows even if they were kept open.
