Crystal stood staring at the big oak doors. That separated her from the room where her future will be, decided. She didn't know what to expect or what to say. But many of the court members narrowed their eyes at Crystal before going into the court.
She heard the door unlock and a guard opened the door. "It's time, you may entre," he said. Crystal went inside and Soleil was sitting on her shoulder. "You brought your dragon with you?" one of the members asked.
"I insisted on coming, after all, is it not the rules to have your dragon with you at all times," Soleil said. "You're cheeky for a golden dragon I see?" a man said. "You would be two if you were in my position," Soleil answered.
"True, I never liked appearing in front of a court. It's not easy and many don't get the rules the first time," a woman said. "MY rider didn't do anything wrong. It's you that failed to understand her situation," Soleil interrupted.
