The elve didn't give Crystal any chance to explain herself or defend herself as the elve kept yelling at her. "You are the most irresponsible elve out there," he yelled.
Crystal went to her room and found she couldn't get any sleep as she kept repeating the angry elf's words over and over in her head.
"You might be a guest of the queen but you need to remember your place in our society," the elve said.
Crystal had no courage to face anyone the next day and decided to stay in her room and rest. It was only late that afternoon when someone knocked on her bedroom door that she dared to face anyone.
As she opened the bedroom door, she looked at a female elve. "Can I help you?" Crystal asked. "You didn't have breakfast with the queen and skipped lunch as well, so I came to see if your okay," the elve maiden said.
