Crystal was up as usual before dawn. She knew she had to check on the dragons and the available food in the realm. She walked out of the palace that morning she couldn't help but notice a dark presence in the air.
She looked around but didn't see anything or anyone out of the ordinary in fact she was the only one awake. "What is wrong Crystal?" Nylla asked. "Something feels as if there is an unknown dark presence in the air but I do not see anyone," Crystal replied.
Nylla looked around and said, "you're right about one thing, something is off," Nylla said.
Crystal mounted Nylla who took off to check on the realm but the more she flew the more Crystal got worried.
"I am worried, the realm is too quiet. Usually, you would have heard birds by now," Crystal said.
"What do you want to do Crystal?" Nylla asked. "Let's check on the gate and see if there are any problems there," Crystal said. Nylla turned her direction towards the gate.
