Nicholai's POV
I can't speak, my mind turned white and blank. I don't know if I am only mistakenly missing my dad for a second that it results into vivid hallucinations. My hands were trembling, and my lips can't produce any sound, I want to yell, ask him if he is real and even hug him tight as I can. I felt someone held my hand and I saw Nicholette who is also teary-eyed, I did not notice that I, myself was crying literally in front of everyone. Should I muster up my courage and say excuses to avoid these humiliations and embarrassment? But I think this is not the right to time to be capricious, this is not the right time to pretend of being tough and independent.
