"So here is what we are gonna do. I will teach you some basic magic regarding water attribute and some other enchantments. We will conceal your aura and scent to hide your identity as a mermaid. Act like a wizard and don't show anyone your tail for the mean time until you find and return to the castle of Adamia" mom said.
"Adamia?"
"Adamia is the name of your mother's kingdom, my prince" she bowed a little jokingly and I glared at her and we both laugh.
"Years after the battle happened, the kingdom of Adamia remained hidden beneath the sea and no one can manage to find it. Only a royal mermaid can make the castle resurface from the water and you are a royal. Keyes, your mother's brother hid the castle from any harm. He is the one in charge of the kingdom for now and waits for the return of their lost prince. And that is you" she continued and I just nodded.
"Keyes is part of the council but he isn't that much active in the council since he is now in charge of Adamia."
"I will chant some spells on you to hide your ocean scent. Wizards don't have scents on them. We will also hide your blue aura. Mermaids have blue aura while wizards have white. I will help you control it. We will stay here for 2 more months for your training and finish your studies here to avoid any suspicions. Afterward we will return to Fiore." I hugged her knowing she will be by my side, always.
"Thank you for everything" I said.
"Thank you for making me happy for 17 years Sky. I mean it. Now go to sleep you have classes tomorrow" she then kissed my head and we bid our good nights.
On my bed, I hold my necklace in my neck thinking about my real mother and my father.
"Please guide me" I muttered before falling into my deep slumber.

7:30 AM-Friday
School
I am currently here at school waiting for our homeroom teacher to arrive. I miss my friends so much, two vacant seats were beside me, their chair. Then Jessica and her 2 minions arrived.
She saw me and shock was visible in her face and he just smirked at me. She then approached my seat and sneered on me "Looks like you are still alive, I don't know how but you just made yourself a death wish" she whispered and laughed out loud.
She then went back with her friends and the teacher arrived.
During class I saw Jessica talking with her friends when suddenly maybe she got thirsty and got her tumbler out and drink.
While drinking I cussed talking to myself "I hope you'll get burnt"
Then she started screaming "HOT! HOT! Ouch!" spitting the water in her mouth.
Everyone were laughing at her and she was even scolded by the teacher for disturbing her class.
Well that happened.
Oh yeah I forgot, I'm a wizard.
But how did I do that.
Maybe it's her karma.

9:30 AM-Friday
School Cafeteria
I went to our usual table. I mean my usual table, alone without friends.
I really wanted to cry when I saw a glimpse of Jessica looking at me then whispered something to her friends and they started laughing.
My day really is so bad right now.
Then they started eating and I do the same.
When someone poured their drink on me. That's when I looked up and saw Jessica's other friend and everyone laughed.
She then go with her friends and whispering things. When I saw Jessica drinking her ice tea and smirking at me.
I'm just mad.
"How I wish you choke on it" I whispered to myself when suddenly Jessica started choking on an ice. This is kind of funny.
And everyone laughed at the cafeteria.

5:20 PM-Friday
Out of Campus
I am already on my way home when I saw Jessica and her friends approaching me.
"Did you just laughed at me in the cafeteria? Huh? Fag?" She then slapped me hard and everyone laughed.
I am really angry right now and I can't keep it to myself.
When heavy rain started to fall and they ran away shrieking. I glared at their leaving figures when the water by rain turned to ice. And that's when I heard them yelling in pain and I ran home. I reached in front of the house with Mom waiting in the living room with raised brows.
That's when I realize the rain of ice stopped.
"You really need to control your magic" she said.
"Go get change!" She kissed my cheek and went to our backyard while I went upstairs and change.
I then went to the back yard with Mom looking at me smiling and holding a book.
"This is a book I got at Fiore last night, it's all about water attribute magic. It's just the basics for Water Magic and there are some basic spells in here for force fields and such" I nodded and she then dragged me at the other side of the house where the pool is. Not that big and not that small either.
"What should I do?" I asked.
"First basic step in doing water magic is feel the water itself. Now dip yourself in the water"
I just followed what she said. What? Mother knows best.
"In doing magic you need full concentration. Now close your eyes and feel the water and let the water feel you"
Huh?
"Huh?" I asked.
"Sky, there's a difference between feeling the water and water feeling you"
And I just nodded and continued.
Closing my eyes and breathing steadily.
Then I feel more different.
I opened my eyes as I saw mom smiling and the water is steadily moving caressing me.
"Good" she said and I smiled because I have done it.
"Do the same thing and try to make the water move to you own accord, make the movement faster" she continued and I again closed my eyes.
Then I felt the water moving in different behavior. It's making small waves even though I am not making a move.
"That's wonderful Sky" she smiled and I smiled back.
"Now let's learn your first spell" she then turned letting her wings spun out and flew over me and letting me read the spell.
"Oh before I forgot. In water magic you can either control the water or make your own water" I just nodded since I have watch some anime before.
"In doing a spell you need to use some of your magical energy and mana. It's also the mage's job to maintain the flow of his own mana. Your spells are based on your energy. You may run out of mana depends on the power of the spell or the mage's mana stability" she said.
I then closed my eyes feeling the water.
The opened it after seconds
I then chanted "Water Lock"
There I saw mom trapped inside a water ball.
She then glared at me and held her hand out then she chanted
"Bullet Seed"
Then her hand lights coming out were magical seeds causing my spell to break and the bullets of magical seeds came aiming at me.
Out of instincts I blurted out something I read below the first spell.
"Water Barricade"
A wall of water was in front of me stopping mom's attack
"You are a natural Sky, but you just got me wet!" She yelled then laughed and then joined her laughing.
