It was already night when Clarity was finished teaching Meng Bao the basics and decided to comeback when they're already freezing. When they reach the camp they saw a new bunch of people talking with the others.
Walking to them, she heard their conversations "You joined this travelers camp, how do you know that she's safe and won't hurt all of you?" a woman that looks like a princess asked Emily. "If she wants to hurt us. were already poisoned to death. She gave us her rations and made us a home." Emily reasoned which made the other campers nodded their heads in agreement. "Then fine! i will stay with you guys to see if she's safe and won't harm your lives" she declared. "But lady! the crown prince of Gaiza has already prepared your accomodations." the knight rebuked her decision but was only stared at by her.
since they were done talking, Clarity released her hands on the little buns ears and decided to enter the scene acting like she didn't know what transpired. "Good Evening everyone, Who's this lovely people are?" she asked and stand beside Meng Hua.
Emily was flustered with her question and introduced the three people. "These people are, The one and only Crown Princess of Valor and her knight guards Quincy and Ben." Emily answered and did a curtsey.
"So what can i do for you guys? Wait, did you ate yet? if not, let me invite you into my humble home and have some dinner." Clarity said hiding the mocking on her words, but the princess noticed it but didn't bother. The princess thought that this so called Traveler might have heard her conversation with the Duke's Daughter, but she didn't mind though because she also would do it if she's on her shoes and no noble with a right mind will be happy with an uninvited guest who talked at someone else's back.
The princess also acted the part and said "How can i reject to such a gorgeous and kind lady's invitation. Let's proceed and enter your humble home." Meng Bao looked at her mother and whispered. "Mom, what are they doing?" he asked. "It's big stuffs baby. Your to young to know..." Meng Hua told him to keep silent while they entered Clarity's house.
as they entered the house. The Princess and his Knight Guards can't help but exclaimed with surprise, they can't believe that in such a simple and ordinary house in the middle of nowhere, a house that could contest a noblemens mansion with a verh modernize decorations and equipments.
"Say, Gorgeous and Kind lady. Where did you get this beautiful stuffs?" she asked while looking at the shelves. (You can search for designs online and imagine it yourselves. I'm just an author not an artist and i can't post pictures here.) hearing the 'princess' nickname to her, she got furious. Clarity is not dumb enough to not know that she's getting mocked. "From your mom" she answered, pissed.
"oh my, My mom was fed to the beasts so you must be joking when you said that" she said while opening her fan and laugh.
When they entered the kitchen it was empty, obviously. "Oh my, you invited us but there's no food on the table? what an irresponsible host!" the princess said and walked to the living room to take a seat. The other campers except Theo and Alvin, was awkward when they heard the princess mocking Clarity. Both the brothers know that the princess attitude is bad, because they already know her. She's a princess and both of them work in the castle so they were bound to meet and greet each other.
Alvin walked to the princess and talked to her, while Emily, Meng Hua and Thomas cooked the dishes for dinner. The others either wondered around the house to take a look or sat on the table.
Meng Bao on the other hand followed Clarity on her room and saw her carrying the baby dear and cub and put them on the bed. Clarity looked at him and tap the space beside her.
He went to her and sat on it but almost slept on it because of it's comfiness. "Wanna know a cute little trick, little bun?" Clarity asked the Meng Bao who is enjoying the bed. Hearing her question though he began to feel excited and sat back up. "Yes, A beautiful trick. Ms. Clarity, i want to see one" he said with excitement.
She began to summon up some nature elements in the sorroundings and spread them like fireflies, but it wasn't the end though because the little bun won't see it so she turned them into real fireflies making the little bun standup and began to reach them. Clarity learned this party trick when she saw the little bun turned the water elements into a real water. what she can only do at first is to control them and used the sorroundings or some items to form a shape, but what Meng Bao did is turning the elements into a real thing. The trick was really actually, It's like what alvin did to make his spells become Elemental Spells and what me and Meng Bao did is to use the Mana and fuse it into the elements to create them. In short Elementalist can almost do anything they want as long as their is Mana and Elements.
"So... did you like it?" she asked while combing Kuma's furs. "Yes! they're so beautiful it looks like stars" he said while doing on one. This time she took a small bottle from her inventory and put some of the fireflies inside it. "now let's go back down in the dining room, shall we?" Clarity asked and rub her hands on the little guys air.

Everyone was already in the table waiting for the both of them and the atmosphere on the table was pretty awkward because of the knight guards, grumbling on why Clarity could let the princess wait. The princess was also ashamed because of her guards and almost smacked them with shame and irritations. "Sorry for being late, i almost got hooked on what im doing upstairs and forgot about my guest" she said while leading the little bun to Meng Bao. Meng Bao saw her son holding on to a bottle which seems to have fireflies on it, but didn't asked.
All of them began to eat their meals happily but mostly it's the knight guards. They didn't get to eat a proper meal for a few days now and only got to taste a delicacy from a guy they met in the mountains. The rest didn't mind the knight guards almost hogging all the foods because they already to ate some fruits before they come and wasn't that much hungry.
The princess looked at Clarity and put down her cutleries. "Ms. Clarity, I the crown princess of valor" "-once" clarity interrupted. "yes, the once crown princess of the fallen kingdom valor would like to request to settle here in your camp." The princess asked, but both of them actually know about it so clarity already planned to accept it from the start. Why you ask? even though she knew that the princess thought of her as a threat or something to this people's lives, Clarity has her own saying. 'There is always a reason on what's happening' meaning there is no effect if there is no cause.
(I don't know if there's really a saying like that, but this is my own thinking. Because no person is a bad person from the start. They were bad because they are or they have experienced something horrible.)
