I gasp for air the moment I open my eyes. The bright ceiling instantly greeted me far from what I had dream. I immediately sitted on the bed clutching my chest. Roaming my eyes around the eleven square meter room that was painted with white and beige. My brush paint are nestled on the end corner of the bed, some of it was scattered on the floor together with some of my painting materials. Unfinished painting was lean on the cabinet shelf stuffed with fiction books that was neatly organize ever since I occupy the room.
I heaved a sigh when my eyes landed on the full length mirror, reflecting my flushed face and messy hair. My forehead is sweaty and I felt my body cold. I am catching my breath as if I run for miles when in fact I was just sleeping.
"That nightmare again..." I whisper to myself, trying to keep my breathing calm and even withdrawing my gaze on my reflection on the mirror.
