"We didn't know. I will call her to see what can I do to help her"
"Maybe she's not..." I whisper.
He nods his head. Perhaps we both have the same thoughts.
"But for now, I will stay here for three days"
My brows creased as I look at him in disbelief. It's not like I don't want him here because this is his house in the first place, but I don't like his idea. No scratch that. What I mean is, I know why he wanted to stay here and that is to guard me.
"I told you I need to talk to Alder" I started. "How will I talk to him if you're here? For sure he won't approach me or worst he will threaten me even more"
I thought he will have a violent response but then he just shrug his shoulder and jump on the sofa. That's when I notice the black bag on the center table which I don't need to ask if he owns. Because of course, it's his personal things. Perhaps his clothes.
