ON THE NEXT DAY
I wasn't surprised when I was greeted with an accusing stare the moment I step inside the university. Recalling what Bennett did yesterday, I must applause him because things fall into what he wanted. I keep my serious face and walk with my chin held high. I have nothing to be ashamed of. People will believe what they wanted to believe.
I tuck the loose strand of my hair and maintain my pace. I head straight to the art room suffocated with those stares. But before I could grasp the knob, the door open revealing Bennett and Georgina.
"Cami," George utter with hesitation.
My lips form into a thin line and didn't open my mouth to speak. I could feel the weight of Bennett's stare but I didn't bother glancing at him. He doesn't deserve it. I was keeping myself from the attention of other people but because of him, I become the center of attraction. I don't just hate him, I am fucking furious because of what he did.
