"What did you say!?"
"Y-yes sir. There's an incident that happened at dawn. It is said that Lady Avy Cross came back to the Cross household and wrecked havoc and even battled against her father."
Agme Perch spewed out his coffee after hearing his butler's report. They're in the Perch's garden, the sole place that displays tranquility in the household yet stained by Agme's very existence.
Agme just shook his head and bit his nail.
"That girl, is she seeking for revenge? Tch. Now that she's banished and all, I don't think the noble laws could hold her", is what he thought.
"Sire? Are you alright? I shall prepare another cup of--"
"I don't need any you dumb! Get me more details about that fucking girl!"
"R-right away sire!"
"Tch. Why is Leon absent, of all days? All I have are these stupid, incompetent fools."
The butler ran away hastily as Agme watched his back. He sighed afterwards and looked up.
"This time...this time...if ever I got you...I shall make you mine you dipshit. You better be grateful."
He said it while doing a grabbing gesture with his right hand and lets out a disturbing laugh of sadistic excitement.
"Now then, how should I break your spirit this time?"
•••
I'm now with Chrome walking...
"Ugh, it's so hot...I want to take it off..."
"I apologize Lady Avy but this is the only fabric available."
We're walking while covering our faces with some fabric. The reason why it's hot is because of the fabric itself. This is something that should've been available for the winter, not for this scorching hot weather!
"Eh? What's with those two?"
"Aren't those for winter? Why are they wearing that?"
See? We're garnering some attention!
All I could do is sigh, and tolerate this unbearable heat.
The reason why we're trying to stay incognito (though I don't think what we're doing right now is something under the incognito category) is due to me, as well as Chrome, being wanted.
The news sure comes fast.
According to the newspaper I've read, it stated that I caused a major ruckus and disrupted the peace of this place for the sake of revenge and even burned my previous home out of jealousy and vengeance.
I couldn't help but laugh.
This newspaper is not legitimate at all. It always has been on the side of those nobles.
In other words, it's biased.
Well, the newspaper's name says it all--"Royal Paper" is the name. What a hilarious naming sense.
Well, uhh about that incident... It's not my fault though?
It's that stupid father's fault for using flames INSIDE the house. I just came back to fetch my stuff.
"My lady, we're here."
"Huh? Oh, sorry Chrome. I didn't pay attention."
Chrome just shook her head.
"No, please don't apologize, my lady."
I just smiled and took off my "disguise".
Whew, I love the wind brushing off the heat.
We're in front of a two-storey building located southwest from where we were earlier. It's far from the center of this place, and so there's only a few people who knew about this facility existed.
Despite its crumbling appearance, this building is one of the most sturdy of this place. It's made by the most proficient workers, after all.
I knocked at the door twice and went in. Meanwhile, Chrome is staying outside, acting as my lookout and notify me in case anything happens.
"Hello and welcome.to the...wait, aren't you!?"
"Sorry for disturbing you in this hour, Mr. Smil."
"Oh, no...no. I happily welcome ya lass! Now hear me ye? I heard that ya beat the shit out of yar shitty father. Is that true?"
"Ah, well that's sort of an exaggeration, but yeah... I went back and fetch my things but then my father fought against me. I wrecked his sword...I didn't exactly went far as to 'beat him to a pulp'."
This physically fit middle-aged man is Ymir Smil. Mr. Smil has this fatherly aura despite having a stern face and tone. He always wore some dark glasses, and his clothing are always in a mess.
He's the finest crafter. He also have his team, a total of fifty people, under his wings and together they're the ones who erected the best facilities in the school. He's the one who taught me how to craft a sword. For some reason, however, neither his name nor the name of his shop, "Kitty's Crafting", is known.
We talked about a lot of stuff, catching up to each other's life. He's lively as always, and I'm happy for it.
He's my father figure, after all.
"By the way lass, what brings ya here?"
"Ah well, you see..."
We're finally getting to the point.
I told him everything about my plan, to which he immediately replied with a yes.
"Hoh? An underground city, ya say? Ain't that great lass! Gahahaha! I'm proud of ya!"
"? Why are you laughing--oh my! Is that you Avy!?"
"Eh? Big sister Avy is here! Hey, evryone! Big sister is here!"
Mrs. Syl and their daughter, Venice, appeared and what happened next is quite a ruckus.
"Eh? Avy's here!!!?"
"Wait, don't push you ass! Avy!? It's been a while!"
"Oh! The wanted lady is here! Wahahaha let's celebrate her victory against her shit-ass pops!"
"Ahhh...everyone!"
"Calm down ya stupid punks!"
"Eh, we can't do that chief. You can't have Avy all by yourself. We wanna talk with her too!"
We happily exchanged our greetings and few minutes later...
"So that's the gist of it, ya punks! So, what do ya say?"
"You don't need to ask that chief? Of course we'll help!"
"Yeah, right guys?"
The whole "Kitty crew" screamed "YEAH!" happily.
Out of curiosity, I blurted out a question.
"A-are you guys really okay with it?"
The guys just looked at each other and laughed out loud.
"What's with that, Avy? Weren't you the one who asked for our help? Of course we would help you!"
"You're the one who always comes here and brought us some snacks!"
"Not only that, you're the one who payed our debts when we have nothing in our pockets and even purchased a lot of food just for us!"
"Everyone..."
I can't hold my tears and cried. I covered it with my left arm. I can't cover my snot though.
Thankfully, Mrs. Smil lent me her handkerchief.
Sorry for blowing at your handkerchief.
I'll make sure to wash it later.
