Robinson's Villa
"My precious daughter is coming soon and you are telling me that the meal is almost done?! What audacity?!"
A beautiful middle aged woman bearing a striking resemblance to Clarie was berating the kitchen staffs. She could easily be mistaken for a young lady in her early 30's. She was Lady Isabella Robinson.
"Mom, you need to chill, she won't be here so soon"
A young guy with a fair complexion and light green eyes, which made him look independent and mysterious walked towards Isabella with a Leonberger on leash. The glasses on his nose looks as if it's close to falling.
"CHARLES ROBINSON! Your twin sister is coming back home after so many years and this is the kind of attitude you give?!"
"I would rather walk Caeser" Charles said as he started moving towards the patio door.
"Charles Robinson! What am I going to do with him?" The first phrase was thrown to Charles who just kept walking and the next was to herself.
"Don't just stand there... get busy" Bella said to the helps who scurried away.
"I need my Lavender tea" Bella said as she walked away.
'Home sweet home' Clarie thought has she got down from the car.
"Please, take my luggages to my room" Clarie told the porter with a smile on her face.
'Beautiful' The porter, James was dumbstruck but Lily was quick to bring him back from space as she was already used to this...
"Meow"
"Yes, Young mistress" James responded with a start.
"Thank you" Clarie responded with another breathtaking smile as she walked towards the front door.
"Phew..." James signed,
"... thank God Young mistress left, I must have looked like a fool. How can one look so beautiful?" he said as he moved the luggage towards the door.
As Clarie walked through the door, a pop sound was heard.
"Meow!" Lily jumped with a start out of Clarie's hand. Confetti was dropping down as if it were rain. Servants were lined up, in their hands could be seen the cause of the sound.
"My beautiful daughter, come let me see if you got thinner." Bella said as she walked towards her daughter. "Oh my gosh! My Princess got slimmer... serve the dishes, we need to fatten her up"
At this moment, different thought were running through the cat and her human mind.
'What... meow... princess? I'm the only princess here... meow. All this... meow... to welcome me... meow...' Lily said feeling proud, obviously her princess syndrome coming out.
'What fatten up? I'm not Lily' Clarie thought looking down at the said cat. Lily could feel her human looking at her and she looked up curiously.
"Mom, how lovely to see you. You look beautiful as always"
"You and your sweet mouth" Bella said but it could be seen on her face that she was happy with the praise.
"What about Dad?"
"You know your Father, he said that he still has some work to do but that he'll make it home before dinner" Bella said with a frown on her face, obviously not happy that her husband is absent.
"Let me go see what's going with the food" Bella said as she walked towards the kitchen.
Barks could be heard coming from the patio door as Caeser ran towards Clarie, with poor Charles running after him.
Caeser jumped on Clarie as they bought fell on the floor.
'Foolish dog, get...meow...off my...meow...human' Lily was visibly pissed my what just happened.
"Good boy, good boy" Clarie said as she put Caeser down.
"You've grown bigger, Caeser. And you too." Clarie said as she looked at her brother.
"And you've grown slimmer" Charles replied.
"Gosh... what is it with you and mom?"
"Slimmer...crack... slimmer" A colorful parrot lying in a cage screeched.
"We have a parrot?!" Clarie said as she ran towards it with Charlie following behind her.
'How come I didn't notice it? So beautiful' Clarie thought in her mind.
"His name is Augustus"
Clarie's hand that was stretching towards the parrot paused.
"Sorry, come again" Clarie said as she placed her hand near her ear.
"Augustus, he was a former Roman emperor"
"I know who he is. It's sad to see that your obsession with the Roman empire is still the same"
"Well, I am happy to see that you are still the sassy girl I know" Charles replied as he stretched out his arms.
Clarie ran towards him and hugged him tight.
"I missed you, bro" Clarie said but all she got was a tighter hug.
"Can't... bre..a.the" Clarie said as Charles released her from their hug.
"Tell mum that I'm going to freshen up" Clarie said as she walked towards the stairs.
