"Damn." Lanie whispered while looking at her phone. Kevin looked at her, confused and worried.
When Lanie looked at him problematic, he immediately got it. They needed to go back. They were almost in the city but still, Lanie needed to go back because there was a problem in the plantation. One of their customer went there to protest about the delivered goods.
Lanie massaged her temple while closing her eyes.
"Are you okay?" Kevin asked her but Lanie only answered him with a heavy sigh. Lanie opened her eyes as she looked outside the window. She bit her lip. She was tapping her fingers on her lap and Kevin quickly noticed it. There was only one meaning when Lanie started tapping her fingers. She was thinking and deciding about a serious matter and what she will do.
Then, minutes later, she looked at Kevin. "You needed to go back to the city today, right?"
"Yes. But I can wait-"
