"I don't think I heard you clearly Mr. Peter, do you mind repeating that with more sense?"
" I said I don't have any of the organization's members phone numbers, and certainly not KING of people, why would you even want it? are you trying to get killed?"
More like trying not to, you moron.
"I'm the one asking the questions here" I grumbled. Gritting my teeth, I thought about how big this was to the plan for tonight, if I don't get that number.... No, I won't give up!
"Mr. Peter?"
"Yes Master Price?"
"How did you communicate with those men before I came?"I asked seriously.
I remembered the bus ride last month, when I noticed the bodyguard, Mr. Peter was also staring at him too, though as at that time I was more concerned with not dying by a reckless driver.
"Then you're implying that they don't just ambush me out of nowhere, that is what bullies do you know"he said with a hurt look his face. I raised a brow at him. He sighed.
Mr. Peter and I were at our usual spot, at the back of the school, behind the school bus. Apparently he sort of freaked out when I flat out asked him to give King's number. Yeah I knew asking that way was stupid move but...I really couldn't find how else to put it, I don't just need any of their mens number, I need King's number and fast.
"You'd have to prove why you think I'm lying boss, or else I really can't help you, I'm really sorry" he said and dropped into a sitting position on the grass.
"Fine",
"I know you might be upset but...wait, what?"he asked, "Early last month, the first morning I rode the bus, we both locked eyes on a man, the same one that died recently, roughly two weeks ago I think. He merely looked at you and then you suddenly decided to stop us by a very fancy deli, not the kind that expects to see a bus full of school kids bursting through the doors, especially when SALLYANNE, Mellburry students favorite deli was only two blocks ahead.
You went to a specific seat the moment you walked in, don't you remember? the one that hid you from curious eyes.
clearly, that doesn't just happen by eye contact"I told him. He just gawked at me. I raised a brow at him.
He groaned loudly... "Why can't you just be as aired headed and oblivious as the rest of your mates? it's impressive... but mostly annoying"he said frowning. I just stared at him silently. He looked around our surroundings, then sat on the grass and patted the space beside him. I did as he expected and sat facing him.
"Having a particular phone number could allow them be tracked. Sure with friends and family it's fine to give out phone numbers, but within the organization? it's unacceptable. So to maintain communication, the board of executives use letters, and I don't mean emails, I'm talking of the kind with postcards"he told me. "That sounds stressful"I said and gave it a thought... "But that's not exactly something that can be taken before it meets the receiver, especially since everything is electronic these days... uhmm, so, what are the letters like? I mean is something maybe different about it, I mean they have to show their ego somewhere, right?" I asked him, he smiled deviously at me. "You're definitely right, those assholes err... I mean, dummies do have a thing for showing their ego or in any case, their difference. The agents always work wearing suits, which I for one, find very constricting. As for the letters sent, it's always packaged in shiny customized black envelopes, without a stamp. They have their own courrier service so, it gets sent to the exact location intended.
King never reaches out to just anyone, he even tosses the letters from the organization in the bin monthly. Last time I had to go there, I was relieved he wasn't present, but I saw Cage err... I mean, someone clearing out the files into a large bin to be burnt.
Although, now that I think of it, I do recall King has called someone before, but it really didn't go so well cause he was stupid enough to think it was some prank call from a private number.
Members of teams may have each others digits but only leaders of each team has the digits of the agents they're under. So there's sort of a hierarchy if you get what I mean" He finished.
"That will be all, you've done for today, uhmm, thanks"I said and immediately got up and left. I heard a bit of grumbling coming from behind but I ignored it.
My job is complete, now... to face a very excited blondie.

Just as I was about to turn the knob, I heard a couple familiar voices...
"I want us to show up wearing red, so everyone would know we're meant to be together!"I heard Eve cry. "More like you're brother and sister" I think Conner said.
"Why don't you both wear black? Audrey loves that color doesn't he?"
"You seriously expect me to just let someone as cute as Audrey walk into a crowd of veeeeery important people dressed in just black?"
~She thinks I'm cute?~
"And what's wrong with black?, it's a cool color and it would look great on Audrey!"I heard two people yell. "Jinx!!" "Hey!!!".
"Audrey Price is NOT wearing black to that event, absolutely not!"
"Ah yes! you two should wear white to the event! it'll be amazing!" that sounded like Priscilla, one of Eve's friends.
"We aren't letting you marry Audrey without our permission, it's completely against the bro code!"
"No it isn't!"
"It is now!"
What the heck is going on in there?.
I pushed the door open and all eyes fell me. I stared at them and gestured to my seat, where all of them had crowded around my poor defenseless school bag like vultures around their meal.
"Mind explaining what's going on?"I asked seriously. I couldn't help imagining how uncomfortable I might have been if it was me and not my lifeless bag there. I suddenly noticed the class was silent... and they were all staring at me wide eyed.
"what?"
"You're going in your uniform" Bruce, Conner, Kevin, Priscilla and Eve said at the same time.
"Don't even dream of it".

I stood in front of a large mansion, with very fancy and expensive looking swan statues placed towards the entrance of the main building. Donna and I had passed a huge golden gate with just a few security guards. For some reason, I kept looking at my sister's face, maybe I expected some kind of reaction, since anyone could be a potential killer but... she was just as calm and friendly as always, not like the dangerous killer with a youtube fan base.... err killer watch? whatever.
She's here to escort me and check out the Watsons while she's at it.
"Ready sweetpea?"she asked and smiled at me. "Uhmm, If you are"I told her quietly, "Is my little brother scared to talk to a girl's father?" She cooed, smiling evilly at me. I scoffed "Please, I remembered Patrick saying they're all airheaded, I'm just a bit worried about controlling my tongue around elderly airheads, there's no hope for those kind yunno"I told her honestly. I watched her try to hold back a grin... and cover her laugh with a fake cough.
"Listen sweetpea, If there's an airhead with this much money under wraps, exactly how much air do you really think is in that head? think about it okay?, don't judge a book by it's cover. Now, let's meet this pack of blondies aye?"she asked with a carefree smile.
I smiled back at her, then walked up the step and knocked twice on the ginormous door.
A few seconds later, the door opened and a brunette in a classic maid uniform stepped out. "Good evening sir and ma'am, how may I be of help to you?"she asked. "Good evening, I'm Madonna Price and this here is Audrey Price, he's Miss Watson's escort for tonight's event"Donna explained. "Oh, welcome, we've been expecting you, I'm afraid Lady Evelyn still hasn't decided which dress she wants to wear, this might take a while, so please, come in a have a s-", I raced past her in to the main hall and yelled at the top of my voice
"You're burning daylight Blondie!!!".
