"Great Job everyone, y'all did great out there, that's our first match for today, we have one after lunch break, now y'all go ahead and rest. Also y'all can keep Poppy, she's been a good little kitty staying on the bench for the whole match," after the speech coach took off for her own break time.
"Yes!! Thank you coach," everyone cheered in sync not really for their break time, but for the coach approving that we all could keep Poppy.
The little creature came walking up to Andra, with him bending down and scooping her up in his hands he cooed at her, "Well hello there little one, we have great news for you. You're going to become our new family member!" he booped her nose.
"This sounds like a celebration, let's get you cat food and some treats shall we," he continued.
To which Poppy replied, "Meow!" while purring as Andra held her to his shoulders.
The others boys had already ran away to the canteen leaving us girls to discuss some stuff.
"-wait seriously, are they actually going to join us at dinner?" asked Cass.
"Yasss!" Zora and Dew squealed.
"Who's going to join us at dinner?" I butted in.
"Damien, Kir! He's joining us for dinner," Dew squealed as he rushed up to me shaking my holders.
I laughed at the look on Dew's face, she really did like Damien, "Chill Dew, you're going to break her," joked Lyn.
"Oops sorry bout that, I can't help it he's joining us-"
'And the rest of the official team," Lyn added.
"Yeah yeah," Dew waved at her, ignoring that fact, a grin plastered up her face.
"We better not waste any of our break time, come on let's go to the cafeteria," spoke Cloe as she swung the drink box strap up her shoulders.
"You guys go ahead, I need to go to the toilet for a sec,"
"Want me to come with?" asked Ava but I declined her offer saying I'll be real quick.
"I just need to change and get my uniform real quick," we bid byes and I walked down the halls.
The metal door to the girls bathroom squeaked as I pushed in, there was an inner door which leads to the changing room and locker room.
No one was around, I expected they were all having their break in the cafeteria.
I went from the near locker scanning the numbers to find me. They had upper and lower lockers, Lyn didn't specifically tell me where mine was.

I put in the password for it, lifting the handle and it busted open, the inner of the locker door had a label with my name and team in it. There was my uniform and other stuff they handed out, but only took the jacket and trainers with me.
I wanted to cover myself up since I was only wearing a jersey and shorts, and the fact it would be freezing from the AC in the cafeteria, and anywhere else I would go other than outside. It was pretty warm outside.
Everywhere was empty so I stepped in a random stall and started changing. The smell of the new jacket went quite pleasant, taking it out of the plastic wrap I held it out so I could see it clearly, it was simple yet had a slick look, I don't know really but it was definitely dope as heck.
The jersey was off, I'm still wearing an inner, and nowthe jacket and left the trousers in the plastic.
And not to forget the 50 push-ups, seeming that nobody was in the changing room with me I thought maybe doing the push-ups outside instead of in the small stall.
The moment I was about to open the stall, I heard chatter and the sound was familiar enough that I knew straightly that it was Chal's.
So I did what everybody would do, I went back to my stall, locked it and stayed silent hoping I could eavesdrop on they're evil plan to get back to Jo.
But this isn't a cliche novel I'm in and she was definitely not some mean girl type, but they were planning something.
"-didn't you move on?" One of her friends asked.
"Well, that's what I thought," I heard Chal sighed.
"So what are you going to do about it?"
"Honestly I really want to go back with him, and truly I hope he still feels the same,"
"Wait what if he already got himself a lover, I mean who knows, throughout the years we all have been friends we all know Jo really friendly with people, so we don't exactly know if he's into you or not,"
'...she's right, I don't even know if Jo's into or just being friendly,' I thought.
"Argh you're right Gee, but it wouldn't hurt to try again right? The reason we broke up was not that anything bad happened you know, It's just bad timing I guess,"
"Sure, maybe he does still feel the same. So what are you going to do?" the girl i assumed was Gee asked.
"Well for starters I'm going to talk with Dew and get her to help me," and now I'm guessing they went out as it was now silent.
"So much for just finding out I had a crush on him," I mumbled and exited the changing room.

Just as I expected, the nasty smell of food filed my nostrils as I opened the doors of the Cafeteria. Though it was full of loud athletes, it wasn't hard to find the guys. I could spot them on a table far at the edge.
Dew and Cass were telling a hilarious story about the time they both encountered a lady and the zoo.
"She was like ExcUSe mADams I muST GEt a GoOD ViEW Of THis TigEr," Dew explained as she tried to hold her laugh.
"A-and then s-she was like COME KITTY COME HOME," and they burst out laughing, in all honesty the story wasn't that funny but their laugh was just too contagious and made the whole team crack up.
Not long Chal came to our table and smiled at everyone.
"Hey can I borrow Dew for a moment I need to talk to her quickly," and Dew was out with her.
'Is Dew going to help her?' I sigh.
"You ok?" A voice questioned.
Looking forward, Jo had taken Dew's seat, and he was looking at me with a worried expression.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I not be?" I continued on eating my meal which I have no appetite at the moment.
"Well you look gloomy," I shrugged.
I tried to finish my meal and went to the girls dorm which was empty. I need to clear my mind for now, we all got a good 20 minutes until the practice match starts again, and I need to focus to win the games or else we'd have to go through all the penalties plus coaches punishments.
I went to sit on the floor, maybe meditation would help me, before doing so I took a gulp of water to freshen up. Getting crossed legs I began to focus on my breathing, doing everything slowly at pace, relaxing my inner self.
'Yeah this is it,'
I was almost there, just nearly entering my peace mode. 'Breath in, breath out,'
"Yo Kira! There you are!" Andra burst in scaring me and ruining my peace mode.
"What's up?" I asked, trying not to sound bitter about it.
"Chill ax, dude we have 5 minutes and Cap wants everyone out gathering now," he pointed.
"Ok- wait why are you in the girls dorm anyways?"
"Argh Cas got me to fetch you because I was the only one 'goofing off' she quoted. Why expect someone else huh?" he smirked.
"Oh come on, we all know, and it's obvious," he continued.
"Sorry for being obvious," I sarcastically said.
"Besides what's the point he doesn't like me,"
"Aha! So you do like him," he pointed out, making me roll my eyes.
"And who said he doesn't like you, dude the guy was worried sick about you behaviour, you ignoring him, you disappearing, and at the canteen why you were al sad and gloomy,"
"I was not sad,"
"The point is you are blind to not see that he care for you more than just a friend," he pushed my forehead with his finger and walked away to the team,"
"Ouch," I rubbed my forehead.
Following him, I went and huddled up with the team as the coach was starting to speak.
"Alright guys, now this is the last match of the day, this is just a practice match, but I hope everyone of you plays seriously, but of course enjoy yourself. Remember we have two teams here and only one of me, I can't be there at all time since some of your games are at the same schedule, and it's already set we can't change it, so I expect some great teamwork here, whatever hatred or revenge you have to anyone in here must be thrown out this instance, I don't care if you enemies outside but if I see anyone of you fighting not able to contain your emotions with the people in the team you are benched or even out the team before you can say basketball, so you all with me now?!"
"Yes coach!" we shout in sync.
"Alright now 1 2 3!"
"U. M.!"
The team split up and we got to our places.
Taking off our jackets and trousers we went to stretch, we could see our opponents on the opposite side of the court, we weren't familiar with them, in fact we didn't see any team we were familiar with.
"Alright girls gather around now," Called Cloe.
"OK so we'll have a water tester first, Akira's going to play on the second incase anything happens, and we'll just do a 2-3, but focus on what I'm saying later, alright we've got this lets do this!"
"1 2 3!"
"Fight!"
I was benched for the first one with a few girls, while the others got to their position."
With the sound of the whistle and the ball thrown up in the air the game begins.

"Come on kira last on!" Cloe shouted, passing me the ball.
I managed to dodge an opponent and did a fast lay up, but it didn't go.
Good thing I was quick enough to rebound and did a rapid underring, and the swoosh was satisfying enough. The girls went on patting my back congratulating me on my quick moves. We got in a line and shook the other team's hands congratulating them too.
"Great job hun!" Cheered Cas
Looking up at Dew she was smiling but something seemed off.
"Great job on the first round Dew!" playfully punched her shoulders.
"Oh thanks haha... you too," I just smiled back and rushed with the others to see the boys game.
We went up the bleachers, you could hear the coach shouting orders from below.
The score was a tie, but it looks like our boys were leading, Alex was holding the ball about to go but it was a fake and did a three point instead and the ball went through the ring smoothly which made us earn 3 points.
"Smooth!" I shouted excitedly while the others screamed that they won.
Running down the stairs trying not to trip, we greeted the boys and high fived them.
"What's your score?" Andra asked.
"No yours first!" demanded Cas.
"Just do it together," commented Zora.

"Argh!" groaned Andra.
"Yes! Girls Andra's paying for our drinks! Hell yeah!" Cas announced as she punched the air.
We all headed to the showers, changing out our uniforms and to some fresh and clean clothes. I wore a hoodie and shorts, my hair was still wet so I asked Dew who was near the sink to pass me the brush.
"O- uh- here," I scrunch my face looking at Dew.
"You ok Dew?"
"I'm great, wh- why do you worry?" she stuttered which made me question.
"You seem…" trying to find the word.
"Um you seem quiet, which is odd," I commented.
"You ok Dew?" Ava asked as she sensed the same thing.
"I'm fine guys, no need to worry, anyways you feeling hungry? Cuz I do, I'll go out first bye," she rushed out.
'She's hiding something.'
"Do you think she'll be ok?" I asked Ava.
"Maybe, i'll try talking to her later to see what's the problem,"
