Anna Gale came out and already saw general Lewis rushing her way. She intentionally opened both gates as they would definitely warn him.
"The horde is on way to this city. And they are fast. Bring all people inside. And make them be silent. If someone speaks, knock him out. Spray disinfectant everywhere. I will try to lead them the other way." She already prepared a car with bunch of cans on it so it would echo in silence.
Such loud sound will definitely make them go crazy. And she wanted to lead them towards countryside.
"Wait..." General Lewis wanted to stop her. "...it's dangerous..."
But she just waved at him and dissapeard.
The zombies approaching could be heard and felt even from far, literally.
Even as she entered the car she could feel the vibration under her. She slowly drove already making big sound and suddenly remebered something gate said.
If there is more than five thousand zombies at one spot and no humans on street, he will kill them..
She suddenly felt her heart racing. "If I drive straight into the horde and pass the gate, can you kill them?"
*I can kill only part of them that are nearby, not all. It's too dangerous. Better lead them to some open space and then I can kill more. My power goes only straightline. I can't kill them if they are behind trees, corner or between buildings.*
She pressed on gas pedal and moved towards the other exit of the two making so much noise that every zombie in the city and the surrounding started following her.
She drove rather slowly and when she started feeling vibration of many feet, she stepped onto gas and drove faster.
The street went straight and she didn't look left or right, only straight. She could see on the map those creatures speeding up even faster after her and she stepped to drive even faster.
Around thousand of those fast creatures started running behind her and those were actually most dangerous.
"Gate, you might not be able to kill them all, but these evolved one are biggest danger. Can you kill them?"
*Request accepted. Gate ready.*
"Let them come closer, just a little bit closer and open gate near the big chicken farm. I need to slow down afterwards."
*Secondary gate ready.*
"Just a bit closer... Bit closer..." She slowed down as she had no wish to crash into something and finally spoke. *Gate..."
Gate opened up and as she passed the gate the light spread out and literally turned these creatures into dust.
"Wow, before you just killed zombies..."
*Because the normal zombies still have some human material inside and it's enough to behead them. These evolved ones have not enough fluid material and are very combustible.*
So these burn very well.
From one side they are fast and dangerous, but form the other side they are burning like paper?
Wow...
"So they might be scary, but the moment they hit the flames, they turn into ashes?" She was still surprised by this information.
*Correctly*
Hearing that her words were affirmed Anna Gale could only shake her head. "Gate to the base."
She went out and saw only silence and whole crowd of soldiers silently waiting.
Jackson came forward and she just gave him a paper and disapeared.
General Lewis got the paper and nodded. "Let everyone know. Prepare Molotov cocktails."
Anna Gale appeared in lower floor and silently just gave nearest survivor a paper and disapeared right after.
---The fastest and strongest burn like paper. Don't shoot them, just burn them.---
Zombies are afraid of rain and burned like kindle. Won't humans have hope in future?
Suddenly they felt vibration of countless zombies approaching their place, but as Anna said, they sprayed all walls with desinfectant and it stank to zombies.
They listened to sound and just moved forward. Growls of zombies echoed in the silent city and made every single survivor just sit down and hope for the best.
But, there is always one of those stupid people that have to rebel and do things they shouldn't.
One woman stood up and went to kitchen. But instead being silent she tried to kick a child in passing as it was near the door. But instead that she kicked nearby pot that was empty.
The pot flew towards nearby cupboard with shelves and hit directly into set of plates.
The sound was so loud that scared her.
She was so angry that she finally hit the child that started crying.
Nearby was an older woman in wheelchair that got as well kicked by her and as whole group of people arrived with weapons she placed blame at the two of them.
Too bad that the old woman was the big guys only aunt and he got upset as he heard what really happened.
"They were in my way." The woman stubbornly thought she was right and not them..
The big guy just came forward and knocked her out. "Let's go to solitary rooms."
Of course after such a large sound the horde stopped there and growled at the gate.
Just then a wind started blowing and various places started having large sounds. Anna Gale already gathered many cans and hung them on various poles so whenever there is even a slight wind those cans would rattle so loudly that they would annoy zombies.
The zombies got attacked to other noises and scattered. Anna Gale saw no human nearby and flashed five times.
Once on each corner of the prison where still thousands were gathering and once in a side street in one restaurant.
The zombies were most here and were slowly walking straight. The light attracted their attention and as both gates appeared Anna Gale just literally jumped between the two.
Seeing countless bodies being stomped but the incoming horde Anna Gale felt disgusted so she just stopped watching them and checked the base.
They were ready. They had no time to put concrete in whole ditch, but still put water inside and took away the planks that they used to go over the ditch.
Just as expected almost like they knew where they had to go, hundreds of thousands of zombies started climbing the mountain.
Just then a rumble could be heard as the wind became stronger. The thunder made the horde stope and they slowly moved backwards almost like they could smell rain coming.
