"What a strange pillar it is" (Albus)
Its been two days since that duel and I Albus Sommerfield is currently looking to a strange pillar within a shrine inside the forest and if you are wondering how I ended in this situation let's rewind a bit when I've got my first mission from the adventure's guild
"What a peaceful morning" I muttered when I woke up in the inn. As I stretch my body I rise up prepare myself and take a bath in the bathhouse near the inn and take my breakfast inside the inn.
Looks like I'm all set and prepare to go get my first guild mission in this world I fired myself up and went to the guild and as I step into the doors of the guild the other adventurers look at me and whispers to themselves.
"Hey its the guy who quickly promoted to B-rank by taking the entrance examination"
"No way he must bribed the higher staff to promote him"
"No its not true I hear that guy beaten the Miss Rin in her berserk mode during the guild battle entrance examination"
"Really!? So he must be a monster in a human body like miss Rin"
" Maybe ..."
Hey I'm not monster you know, I'm just an overpowered reincarnated person you know! I was thinking that when a guild staff beckoned to come at her counter
"A wild boar subjugation request? " I inquired when the guild staff handed me a paper containing the request
"yes! It is an urgent request by village east of this town" the guild staff said to me
"Why this request assigned to me? "(Albus)
" It is the guild master who assigned to you this request and by the way the guild master told me to rely this message to you" (Guild staff)
"What is the message?" (Albus)
"That quest is serves you as your training for basics of adventuring if you want to travel" (Guild staff)
"ehh!?" I flustered how the guild master know what my goals?
"Based on your expressions, you look you didn't know guild master mind-reading ability?" (Guild staff)
"What!? that mena- I mean guild master has that kind of ability!?" I yelled with shock what kind of overpowered skill is that?
" Yes! he was know as the "Thousand Eyes Blademaster" in his former adventurer days due to his skills and also he was feared even in other kingdoms because of that" (Guild staff)
Looks like the guild master of this town is really overpowered but why he didn't help me during the rampage of Miss Rin? Maybe he knows I can defeat her.
"What a cunning guild master" I muttered
"What did you say?"(Guild staff)
"Ah! N-Nothing I thinking myself...by the way do you have map of this kingdom and its surroundings?" (Albus)
"Yes its posted on wall near the request board"(Guild Staff)
"Yeah thanks...." I replied while approaching the request board
"Hmm...." I stared the map very seriously and grasped the information about this kingdom and its location
The kingdom name is Regulus and its sandwich between the kingdom Salavedra in the west, the republic of Drescher in the east and Great Starmoon mountain ranges in the north while in the south a great ocean spreads in the horizon and based on the map I am located in the town of Sola one the territories handle by the one of the five great dukes of this kingdom and also the village where is my quest is located is one of frontier villages bordering the Great Starmoon mountain ranges.
"Looks like it will take me at least a day from here to the village " I muttered as I was calculating the distance
As I returned to the front desk to process my request I ask the relevant information about quest and where to buy the things needed for traveling. After going to guild I passed by to the shops and stalls to buy the things needed I embarked to a carriage going the village. It was smooth ride that I fell asleep half way
"Young man, we have arrived in the village" the carriage driver's voice jolt me awake from my slumber
"Ohh....we are really here....." I said while looking around with the surroundings with a dazed look
"It was really smooth ride considering the distance"(Albus)
"Of course since the security was strengthened since 2 years roads going to the frontier became more safer " the driver said to me
"Hahaha" I laughed "But thanks anyway for the ride" I said while getting down the carriage
"It's a pleasure young man hoped you solved the village's problems here" (carriage driver)
I nodded to him and smiled "Yeah well then see you in a week"
"OK young man and be careful.....Haaahh!!!" the carriage driver whipped his carriage going back to the town I waved to him as his carriage slowly disappear in my sight
"Looks like I am gonna spend the night here before I started my mission its already dusk" I muttered as I walk going to the entrance of the village.
