Mina's POV
"Pft. Penguin" I heard someone but it's inaudible so I didn't hear it.
"Penguin. You over there! Your name is great. I like it!" The cute girl exclaimed and I look at my tag remembering the annoying nickname that Chaeyoung gave me.
"My name is Sana! I'm from Osaka, Japan! Nice to meet you." The blonde girl introduced and extending out her hand for me to shake. We shake hands but her hands seem to doesn't want to let go if it. I look at her and she winked. I retract my hand back and smiled at her.
"If you don't want to ruin my good name, you can call me Mina." I shyly said. She smiled and nodded her head.
"Everyone! I would like to formally welcome you all to JYP University. MY NAME IS DAHYUN! I'm the president of the cheering club. And this is the vice president. Please introduce yourself." The Dahyun girl introduced.
"Pst! Mina. Look at that small girl. She's so handsome and pretty!" Sana said looking at the front. I look at where she was staring.
"I'm... The wife of the president. My name is Chaeyoung, the growling tiger." The vice president introduced while Dahyun just smacked her head. Both are laughing. I heard Sana squealing beside me.
"YAHH! Did you see that? She looked at the two of us." Sana said as she sent a flying kiss to Chaeyoung. Omg... I didn't know she was 'that' kind of person. She's so gay.
"Freshmen, tommorow is going to be our freshman intiation day. After that, we will have a dance party. But today, we should practice dancing for a bit. Is that a good idea, President?" Chaeyoung looked at Dahyun beside her and asked.
"Yes! We should practice first, freshmen, as a warm-up for your bodies." President shouted as everyone is paying attention to the two girls.
"Penguin, please stand up. Sana. Please stand up. And you! The girl with bangs. Please come here in front." Chaeyoung ordered and we walked in front. They started the music and asked us to dance.
Sana and the Momo girl started dancing crazily. I just found out that those two are Japanese also. I'm too shy to dance like that but Chaeyoung insisted, saying she'll dance with me so I don't have to be anxious. We danced and laughed as Dahyun began to do the 'Eagle Dance' again. This is the first time that I laughed out loud. I was starting to enjoy being Kim Mina.
"Ms. Sharon. It looks hunted. Uhm... Ms. Mina I mean. Do you want me to look for a different place?" Sadness unnie offered as she looks at the messy and creepy place.
"You can't do that, unnie. Freshmen have to live inside a campus dorm. Well, it might look scary from the outside, but it might be okay from the inside." I tried ro reassure her. But is it her or me that I'm trying to convince?
"Is it really?" Sadness unnie mocked me.
"Yes" I said smiling.
We go to the counter and there's an old guy doing some weird ritual thingy. We coughed so he will notice us.
"What's your name?" The old man asked.
"Kim Mina" I said and he looks at the book in front of him.
"You didn't sign up." He said monotonously.
"Do I have to?" I asked and he slammed the tabled with his hands. He looked at me. Mommy I'm scared.
"Yes. If you didn't the go find a group with four people." He said and started to do his ritual thingy again.
"Hey Miss! You don't have a room yet, do you?" A pretty girl came downstairs with 2 people in her back. She smiled at me.
"Yes." I answered and looked at the ground.
"We need one more person to get a room. My name is Somi. I'm from faculty business administration. Do you want to share a room with us?" She politely asked. I looked at Sadness unnie and she nodded her head.
"Uh.. yes. Can I?" I shyly asked because I don't know these people but they seemed nice.
"Yes, of course. Sign your name now." She said as she handed me the paper and the pen. I quickly take it and signed it. She looked at me and creased her eyebrow.
"Huh? Your name is penguin? What a weird name." She stated. I look at sadness unnie for help and she seems to understand.
"Her name is not penguin. Her name is Mina. Who would name her child 'penguin'? Sadness unnie explained to them.
"Oh.. um.. A senior played a prank on me. That's why penguin is written on here. And this is... My aunt." I introduced her. They chuckled at my story and bowed their heads as a sign of respect.
"Oh! so you're wearing a bus tag. You're tourism major right?" She asked and smiled at me. I just nodded.
"Hey, me too. Yes, we all have the same major." They replied cheerfully. I just smiled inside my scarf and handed the paper back at them.
"Can we go to the room now?" She said cockily and the old guy nodded.
"Come on." Somi smiled and helped me with my bags. Sadness unnie said to take care of me and Somi nodded. Sadness unnie then leave.
"So here we are!" Somi opened the door. As we entered we saw a messy place, spider webs and dust everywhere and a broken beds. It looks so creepy.
"Is this really a dorm?" Momo asked.
"This is what it really looks like. I guess we just need to clean this up." Somi chuckled. We sat down on the bed and dropped our luggages.
"It's just like in the ghost movies. Luckily my mother gave me an amulet. It's delicious. Do you want some?" Momo said and offered us her snacks. I ate it and I forgot my face. They look at me in horror.
"Mina. What's wrong with your face? Why do you have so many pimples?" The other girl named Jihyo asked.
I just looked at the ground ashamed. I guess I won't have friends anymore because of my face.
"I'm sorry I didn't think before I said those words." Jihyo apologized.
"It's alright." I reassured them even though I badly wanted to cry now.
"Did you go to see a doctor? Are allergic?" Somi worriedly asked. I nodded still looking down.
"I'm allergic to some chemicals." I said.
"Oh... Chemical allergies. That's why it has spread a lot." Somi said.
"Yeah. But if you girls don't feel comfortable, I can leave-" I was cut off when Somi reached for my hands and looked at me.
"Hey, Mina. It's alright. I hope it will heal soon." Somi reassured me.
"Can I really stay here?" I asked ashamed.
"Of course!" Jihyo and Momo immediately replied.
"Aren't you girls scared of me?" I asked them looking up to see them smiling at me.
"Why will we be? You're not scary right?" Somi asked the girls.
"Well you are. You look like those in horror movie where they kill people and put their masks on. But don't worry, you just look like that but you won't do that right?" Momo asked in horror. I guess she's dumber than everyone I met this day.
"Pabo! Just continue eating your snacks. You're watching too much horror movies." Jihyo said as she smacked Momo who's eating with chips all over her face.
"Hey it will heal someday. It will heal completely. Just hang in there. Cheer up baby!" Somi exclaimed cheerfully.
"Thank you, Somi." I smiled.
We cleaned the place and place our belongings. Somi leave the dorm saying she'll stay at her house tonight. We slept unti the sun rose up.
"Mitang... Is that a new trend? You stand out." Sana asked as she looked at me and teased me.
"Do I really stand out? I'm actually trying not to get noticed." I explained as I keep my shades and scarf in my face.
"Well nobody is noticing you. Take it off. You look like buglar in a terrorist group." Sana stated as she have this weird face looking at me.
"Yes, Mina, take the scar off. It must be uncomfortable." Somi tried to persuade me taking of my shades and scarf.
"I'm afraid I might scare people off." I said not wanting to look at them.
"It's alright." Somi said.
"Just give it a try." Sana looked at me smiling.
"But I wanted to wear it like this until my pimples is gone." I insist. I really don't want to take this off especially the look they gave me whn I accidentally take off my scarf.
"Hey you! What are y'all talking about? Why aren't you paying attention to me? Stand up. Stand up!" Dahyun shouted at me.
"What's your name?" She shouted again.
"Kim Mina" I stuttered. I don't like this attention going to me. I hate it.
"WHAT? I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" She shouted.
"Kim Mina." I said louder. And she looks at me.
"Kim Mina? Why are you covering your face!? Covering your face like that makes me think you have no manners! So, take it off!" Dahyun shouted and everyone is watching me. Why did I ever do to deserve this? I just want to get unnoticed but here I am, being shouted in front of everyone.
"I said take it off! This is your senior's order! All seniors must obey whatever we say!" She shouted an I started to remove my glasses.
"Remove that scarf too!" She ordered and I just shook my head. I can't or else they'll made fun of me for being ugly. I hate this.
"I can't." I answered looking down feeling ashamed.
"You dare to disobey my order! Come down here! Come down!" I just cried while I go down. She ordered the girls to come to me.
"Hey what did she tell you? Take your scarf!" A girl said pushed me.
"Are you deaf!?" Another girl said and pushed me too.
"Hey! Okay, I'll take care of it." Chaeyoung decided to came and the girls go back to their places before.
"Freshman, I don't know the reason why you're covering your face like that. But you must follow what your seniors tell you to do." Chaeyoung softly said as she looked at me waiting for me to take off the scarf.
"Chaeyoung..." I whimpered. She came closer to my face.
"You don't have a serious disease, do you?" Chaeyoung whispered in my ear as she looked at me with concern.
"I look digusting." I sighed.
"So you're going to cover your face like this until graduation? Isn't it uncomfortable? You have nothing to fear. I'm here." Chaeyoung smiled and looked into my eyes. I don't know what I felt but when she said that I feel so comfortable like... I can trust her.
Chaeyoung go back beside Dahyun and looked at me. Reassuring me.
"Take it off!" Dahyun declared again. I cried and took off the scarf in my face.
"Turn around!" Dahyun shouted so I turn around with tears streaming down my face. They all let out a gasp and started gossiping about my face. I just stand here crying.
"What is that?"
"Why does she look like that?"
"What's wrong with her?"
"It's so disgusting"
"Gross. Her face is full of pimples"
"Look at her face"
I turn around and looked at Chaeyoung.

A/N: That's the ending of chapter 6! Hope you like it! I know I kinda made Dahyun a little harsh on Mina. Sorry for that. But yeah. I'll be posting the next chapter soon!
