"Oh, you're still here, Valerio? What gives?" Leonidas looked around for the mess that he just heard being created, but he found nothing noteworthy.
"Ah, sorry to disturb you, Leonidas. My clumsy student here made a mess, and I had to tidy it up before going to set up that meeting with Duke Dharma," Zack said, lying straight through his teeth.
QueenRose jumped when her character development gauge suddenly reached completion. She had just finished The Basics!
With a wide grin, she said "Sorry about the troubles, sir," to play along with Zack's narrative.
"How interesting, and to think you were but a fledgling adventurer a few days ago. . ." Leonidas said with an approving smirk.
"Alright, tell me if you need anything, I'll be sitting here looking pretty."
With a nod, Zack and QueenRose made their way to the edge of the store to talk in private.
