"I see. . . Yeah that's understandable. Spending the next ninety to a hundred years sitting at a desk muddled with paperwork. . . It's not something the average Amy could do."

Roman let out a contemplative hum, and then took another swig of his drink. He understood where Zack was coming from, having experienced similar turmoils in the past.

It was clear to him that Zack was at a difficult crossroads.

"Well, not to discourage your continuation of college, but is there anything else you're interested in doing?" Roman asked, prodding at the undisclosed second path in life that Zack was considering.

"Yeah, there is actually. It's a bit unrealistic though. . ." Zack said, not wanting to admit what he had been dreaming of for the past two years. He had never given his dreams much weight, focusing only on the opportunities doing well in college provided him.

Getting the chance to talk about his dream. . . It felt strange.
