Thomas and Maya sat on the edge of the bed, holding each other hands. Maya had already removed her disguise. Her bright alluring face was a bit pale. She was looking into Thomas's eye, seemly trying to carve Thomas's eyes with her piercing gaze.
"Haven't you seen enough?" Thomas teased.
"I'll never see enough of you" Maya answered without averting her gaze.
"Sorry for putting you in so many troubles."
"When I followed you. I already expected this. Please, never say sorry for my responsibility. Am your woman, this little effort of mine in sharing your burden can't compare to yours. Though you never wanted me to carry any."
