Thomas raised his head from the book he was reading. He looked at the Commanding Chief for few seconds without uttering a word. All eyes was on Thomas, waiting for his response. Some of the soldiers were looking at him with scornful and disdainful gaze. How could a boy that knew nothing about military solve the problem that the Generals couldn't solve? Presumptuous, they thought.
The Commanding Chief was looking at Thomas, smiling. Though she looked like she was not disturbed by the situation they are in. All of that was just a façade that a Commanding Chief must show in front of their subordinate. Hell she was apprehensive. She was hoping that Thomas could perform a miracle like his wonder made formation.
